so you forget "'s" countless times and then randomly throw an "is" where it's NOT needed? Not to be the grammar police......but geez
I'm not even that excited about Tebow being voted 95 -- I think he's going to end up better than that.
Really you need to read this thread because it was said just a few pages back along with many other times on these boards. Here you go:
^And I stand by my statement. Your team having a few 4th-quarter comebacks does not make you a great player just because you happened to be the quarterback. Why is it not Dumervil time or Thomas Time? They bailed Tebow out plenty of times in the 4th quarter and put him in position for him to drive down the field.
FB is a team game and TT being the ultimate team player in the ultimate position did more than lead run and throw, he inspired and the results bear this out. Certain players make those around him better, you got one that fits this mold.
Again unfortunately for you it was not MURDR's top 100 list. Its an individual players list and Von Miller and probably Dumerville will be on the list and even higher than Tebow, you need to raise your game a bit because you are going down in flames bud....
Of course you would say that because it does not drive your anti Tebow agenda. Discount all NFL players and make grand opinions based on not having any facts (you admitted to not even knowing what the criteria was). I'll take Ryan Clarks, Vince Woolforks, Takeo Spikes, Champ Bailey, Von MIller and McGahee's word over yours bud.
I'M going down in flames? Your only argument, which is weak at best, is basically saying "hurr durr, they're NFL players, they automatically are better talent evaluators".
MURDR your argument was you would take gruden's oipinion over anyones...he agrees with me EINSTEIN. please continue to say that NFL players actually playing in the NFL can not possibly be qualified to judge who the best players they play against are....its beautiful to watch. MURDR lets examine which argument is weaker, yours or mine: 1. My argument: The NFL players voted for who the top 100 best players in the NFL are and they voted for Tebow as one of the 100 . They actually play in the NFL and are good judges of who is a good football player since well...they actually play against each other. 2. Your argument : This is list is crap because I say so.
In his last 5 games he went 1-5 with a win over a struggling Chicago team who didn't have Matt Forte or Jay Cutler. Teams catch on to him play. By all means he is a great football player so I understand why he is on the list but let's be honest here, the list means nothing. I still believe his popularity helped him get on this list.
you are like a child. If youre going to go out of your way to prove something that wasnt meant to be taken literally, and had to no need to be taken literally, than you are no better a conversation than the fools on this site that you argue with. "I got no more use for this guy."
Wow, you completely and utterly put words into my mouth. That is not even remotely close to my argument.
You said "no one has ever said he is not a good football player" how am I suppose to take that not literally? Plenty have said it. whatever man.
Go ahead and let me know your argument, what is it exactly. That NFL players cant judge how good other players are? That is your argument, that is actually worse than "because I say so " to be honest.
I don't see that if anything he got on the list in spite of his lack of popularity with other players. This was not a fan vote.
He a great football player? I don't buy that one either. Great football players adjust when they get figure out Tebow did not or could he.
