    Implied.

    Implied (unless sarcastic).

    Direct.

    Point proven.

    Cowboys c'mon ...please..I have been a fan since 1977, 35 years.

Although ask me about that scenario against any other team....and we both know that scenario would have Tebow taking over at mid season not in the superbowl.

I'll stand by the VERY logical fact that actual NFL players are the best judge of talent on the field while actually playing in games against him.

If Tebow is voted into the top 100 by NFL players apply Occam's razor to it.

Let me know what you come up with and include the fact that Ryan Clark, Vince Woolfork, Takeo Spikes, Von MIller and Champ Bailey, Mcgahee all said he was a beast and or he belonged on the list.

wow! that is incredible , you do realize that puts it even MORE on tebow's side right?

CRazy that he made the list under that criteria, all the guys he ran over had to have put him on the list if they only voted for 20.

yeah and after all that he is still on the list when 1300 players are not. Thanks for clearing it up that it is still amazing and this was not pro bowl voting as it was NFL players voting for the top 20 best player sin the game.

MURDR Gruden loves him and he is on the list voted in by NFL players , isn't it about time you let it go and maybe quit while you are only slightly behind...?

Is it that crazy when he's alongside Kuhn and McGahee, two other top 20 players?

Setting aside the fact that Sanchez actually has a lower career QB rating than tebow it is a 2011 award and in 2011 :

Sanchez's team did not make the playoffs in 2011
So Sanchez did not win a playoff game as a starter last year
Sanchez even lost head to head against Tebow's team while Tebow was playing QB

why exactly should he be on the list over Tebow?

McGahee only had 3 td's last year and was hurt all the time. Crazy he's on the list.

Clearly it was based on this year though. CJ2K was I think #3 last year, bottom of the list this year.

Good, I hope he continues to fall and only has like 100 yards this year.

Same with Revis playing like shit if he decides he wants a new contract again.

If Revis holds out again, I hope both Revis and Johnson never get another Pro Bowl, never get another interception or yard, respectively, and never get new contracts again, and waste all their fame and money and have financial problems when they're older. Not even joking.

I hate greedy people. I'm not a 99% or anything, but if you sign a contract, you play it out. Holding out is considered a breach of contract and should be punished with the full force of the law, IMO.

Kuhn made the pro bowl and McGahee had a real good year. what are you even saying man? Those two players were REALLY good in 2011

Mcgahee was the lead running back on a team that led the NFL in rushing! Do you even watch football? He was the 6th leading rusher in the entire league.
Kuhn made the pro bowl because all he ever does is BLOW PEOPLE UP. Are you somehow trying to degrade tebow's listing by trashing other NFL players that also deserved to be on the list?

do you even realize what you are doing? Mcgahee was the 6th leading rusher in the NFL on the league's leading rushing attack. You are making an even weaker argument than before.

That's what I don't get...why such hate and vitriol for someone on your team? Whether you like the man or not, agree with his religion or not, think he'll be a legitimate QB in this league or not...he's still a Jet, and even though some of you may not be happy about it, I've never seen such pathetic fans dissing and downright hating on one of their players....I just don't get it.

Chad Pennington and Mark Sanchez would like to interject. They had Jets fans dissing and downright hating them. I don't have a problem if the fans have a legitimate reason because that's what a forum is about. If they spout nonsense or want a player to get injured then it is pathetic

The question was about a straw man argument not about the legitimacy of the players' vote (unless you meant to quote my other post).

The reference to the Pro Bowl was not about the # of players elected or who votes but the fact that those "voted" in were generally unrepresentative of the "best players in the league" (top 20 or top 100 or whatever you fancy).

I doubt that any Jets fans actually "root against" Tebow. Same way with Holmes. At the end of the day we all want to see them get it done on the field to get the W no matter the stats. The one exception I can think of is, let's say, when someone would say, for example, "we spent $2 million on Tebow we should've instead signed _________". At least in that case it's a question of opportunity cost and resource allocation (i.e. salary cap).

Let be real here. Ok props to Tebow for making that list which doesnt really mean shit. It all about wins. Sanchez and Tebow had the same records. It not Sanchez fault Tebow played in a sorry divison and yes it not Tebow fault either. Yes Tebow took over a 1-4 team and made the playoffs BUT his last 5 games he went 1-4. If you Tebow nuts will look at past history in the NFL QB that play like Tebow just doesnt make it as a NFL qb.
Like I said in another post if u want to believe Tebow is really should be on that 100 list you have to also believe Romo is the 91st best player last season and he had his best season ever in NFL.
