Can I see the poll or the article that gives that 90% ? I thought so. NFL players voted him in , can't undo history now. This is not about QB controversy. Sanchez is the starter and Tebow will kill it in the package. Its about being a good football player and a great pick up for a 4th round pick.
Alright, and I'll take Gruden's opinion over NFL players. I still don't believe Tebow is a top 100 player, but the argument was saying that because these guys are NFL players basically means that they're the best talent evaluators there are, which is ridiculously inaccurate.
I honestly don't believe he belongs in the top 100 based on the 2011 season, at least not based on the criteria I would apply if I were voting.
It's already been revealed that he's not. There's multiple articles attempting to stir up controversy in the fact that the backup QB is on the list and starter is not in the Post, NDYN, NFLN, etc.
Yup, I agree. But all the Tebowmaniacs will come to his defense and say "hurr durr, his team won gamez, he must be teh greatest!".
He was soo excited about this, he had to make the thread before he could even see that it is the top discussion under this board.
Here is another example of things that have nothing to do with this thread: Did you know that Roy Williams was not worth a 1st, 3rd and $26 million guaranteed?
Why does everyone get their panties in a wad over Tebow? He's on the team now, and had success in his career....how terrible.
NFL players voted him in unfortunately. maybe if you work out a lot and lift weights and improve your 40 time you can make the NFL and vote him out next time. Give it s shot!
Yikes sounds like Tebow for a 4th was a freaking bargain compared to "hands of stone" (my affectionate Nick name for Roy).
Cowboysfan: Say we get to the superbowl and we are playing the Cowboys. Mark sanchez goes down in the 1st quarter due to injury and Tebow steps in to play the game. Who do you cheer for?
Statistically, this list is bound to be flawed. Being included in the bottom 10 means that player: 1) wasn't likely on every ballot 2) probably benefited from name recognition 3) outliers Just as this list's "Top 100" is arbitrary, so is the order of players. John Kuhn > Tebow? Expect to see many players that don't belong on this list and expect a very inaccurate list, unless you think Pro Bowl voting is 100% accurate.
