My Top 25 players for 2013, as of April 2012.

This will be very fluid, some underclassmen I have declaring. A lot of people may not agree, it's what I've seen and their potential.

I'm not a Landry Jones fan, for those that wonder why he's not on my list.

I also left a few DL off the list, I need to see more this year.

Safeties and OTs look a lot stronger.

Some really solid WRs with good size.

A few good CBs at the top, but overall , I see a weaker class.

    1) Matt Barkley, QB, USC
    2) Robert Woods, WR, USC
    3) Marcus Lattimore, RB, South Carolina
    4) Seantrel Henderson, OT, The U
    5) David Amerson, CB, NC State
    6) Chris Faulk, OT, LSU
    7) Tyler Bray, QB, Tennessee
    8) Jadevon Clowney, DE, South Carolina
    9) Keenan Allen, WR, California
    10) DJ Fluker, OT, Alabama
    11) Sam Campbell, DE, LSU
    12) TJ McDonald, S, USC
    13) Johnathan Hankins, DT, Ohio State
    14) Jake Matthews, OT, Texas A&M
    15) William Gholston, DE, Michigan State
    16) Manti Te'o, ILB, Notre Dame
    17) Tyrann Mathieu, CB/DB, LSU
    18) Devin Taylor, DE/OLB, South Carolina
    19) Star Lotulelei, DT, Utah
    20) Justin Hunter, WR, Tennessee
    21) Eric Reid, S, LSU
    22) Xavier Rhodes, CB, Florida State
    23) Knile Davis, RB, Arkansas
    24) Ricky Wagner, OT, Wisconsin
    25) Tyler Eifert, TE, Notre Dame

    Comments Appreciated.

For some reason I think Clowney is a true sophomore? Either that or I'm getting old really fast.

I would put Clowney #2 on the list.

I would be willing to bet that either Clowney or Barkley goes first next year depending on which team finishes last.

Assuming there aren't any big curveballs in the team's landscape; next year I'd like to see us go:

    1. S
    2. OL/OLB/HB
    3. OL/OLB/HB

Should be good on WR/TE/DL/CB/ILB (assuming Demario works out). Going to have glaring need at OLB if we don't add someone else. Landry will never be a long term solution...so I think S will be an even bigger need because I think that Maybin is going to mature into an every down OLB by then at least. Too hard to predict our needs on the OL. Hopefully DuCasse will be our starting RT so we just need a G. Maybe he'll be useful inside though if not so we'll need a T. Might also try to upgrade OL through FA if we have the $ to spare though.

Do you not like Barrett Jones or is it that we are solid at RG? Just wondering...

Barrett Jones, OL, Alabama, 6'5"/302, Outland Trophy Winner 2011... 10 games at LT/25 games at RG. Will be at Center this year...

Yeah, I'm a homer.... Roll Tide Roll!

I am a big fan of Fluker. I would put him #3 behind Barkley and Woods. I also think Te'o is better than where you ranked him. I am not as high on Lattimore and Amerson as you are. Good list overall though.

Te'o is gonna be such a beast in the league... It's good to see ND putting some stars back in the league. Between Floyd, Te'o, Smith, Eifert, and some others; people will soon be forgetting about the recent bust streak out of ND.

I think Mathieu will play himself into the top 5 or 10. Really fun to watch. Does he project as a FS in the league? If so, sign me up- I'd mortgage half of next year's draft to get that guy.

South Carolina and LSU just keeps putting out studs.. well, all of the SEC for that matter.

Even with the shit going on at Arkansas, QB Tyler Wilson will end up getting drafted in the 1st round next year.

Clowney is not eligble, as others have pointed out.

I don't think you can put a 3 year starter at RT at #3 overall. This isn't a Tyron Smith situation, he was passed over for LT in favor of a JuCo Tackle, a former Guard, and now a true Sophomore. There was no proven LT keeping him on the rightside.

I don't think you could trust him on the Left Side in the pros, he's forte is definitely runblocking. His athleticism allows him to improve leaps and bounds every year at passblocking, but he still needs some cleaning up before it's equal to his runblocking. Too much wasted movement at times, causes him to get knocked off balance by smaller players.

I do see him being a mid-late 1st because someone will like the athleticism for LT, but could ultimately settle for RT out of him...

Five names I'm going to give everyone to watch out for next year that havent been mention here.

Terrance Williams, WR, Baylor - had solid numbers and at times looked better than Kendall Wright. His production may go down a bit with RG3 gone but hes a guy who may just make his QB look better than he is.

Marquess Wilson, WR, Washington St.- has put up insane numbers this far and is only entering his junior season(137 receptions, 2394 yards, and 18 TDs). I think he'll have an even bigger year and come out early. He's 6'4 190 and supposedly runs about a 4.40.

Jarvis Jones, OLB, Georgia- Many of you probably have heard his name in the past, if not, get used to it. Jones has a chance to be the #1 OLB prospect in this draft, and rightfully so. In his first real season to get on the field Jones notched up 70 tackles, 19.5 TFL, and 13.5 sacks. Now keep in mind this was his first complete season he's ever played, if he has the same production if not better in the SEC, he will be hearing his named connected with the Jets plenty.

Bacarri Rambo, Safety, Georgia- if GH hasnt gotten you familiar with this name, then get familiar with it now. Rambo was one of the most impressive players last college football season and one of the best defensive players in a stacked SEC. Rambo racked up 8 INTs, 55 tackles, 8 passes defended, and a TD. There is a slight chance he maybe in this years supplement draft but if not he's a top prospect for next year and certainly someone who can solve our FS woes.

Tyler Wilson, QB, Arkansas- A player who has a chance to be a top 5-10 pick next year and could breakout even more then he did last year. Wilson is an accurate QB with a strong arm that has only played 1 full season. In that season he threw for 3,638 yards, 24 TDs, and 6 INTs. I think he's better much better than Bray who WW85 listed.

Has there been any change in Rambo’s decision to stay? I havent hear anything recently if the amount of games he was suspended was shortened either... Any updates?

If he somehow was in the supplemental draft, we should most definitely try and draft him.

Well, I'm not sure if the suspension is even officially confirmed yet but I know if it is Rambo is trying his best to appeal it. His story sounds legit, he ate a pot brownie without realizing what it was and came back positive for his second offense. I feel kind of bad for the kid but I guess I cant confirm whats true and what isnt.

If the suspension holds up, he maybe looking to go into the supplemental draft, I dont think thats a smart move since hes better off taking the suspension and playing out the year. Only time will tell.
