Nice article. I'm beyond excited about this pick. Would've loved to have gotten him by trading back late into the first round. To get Coples and then Hill in the 2nd just seems unfair.

Michael Floyd looks like a great receiver, but I don't think it's very likely he's going to wind up becoming the best receiver in this draft class. I think Hill is by far the most likely to unseat Blackmon.

The thing that always impressed me on his tape was how good his body control was when he goes to get the football, and his hands on some of the ridiculous grabs he pulls in. He looks like he can actually rival Jeffery and Floyd in those areas, but we know they sure can't rival him in any athletic area. When I first started watching all I saw was blinding speed but the more I watched the better and better his catching skills looked. For a guy on an anemic passing offense I just never expected to see that. He makes some silly drops here and there, but I can only assume that will get better as he becomes more used to catching passes in game situations.

His routes definitely need to get sharper....but he seems to have the steps down pretty well when he runs the Go. As long as he can do that for us...he's going to automatically make a bigger impact than any receiver made for us all last year. With that one route. This guy is a freak and I think he's going to entirely change the dynamic of our passing attack overnight.

I read this, encouraging. Maybe could be like Braylon without the nonsense. A 4.3, wow.

The scouts said they clocked him at 4.28 unofficially at the combine.....it's pretty hard to process this kind of a guy wearing Green and White. Never happened before.

He probably could come into camp and cause Sanchez and Tebow to sit the bench. He was smart though, he put his family before his ego. I always wondered if he had issues with peripheral vision in his left eye.

Nice endorsement of Hill and good to see Hill working out with someone with a wealth of knowledge and experience.

BONER ALERT. I really need to stop reading about Hill... either that, or I should just start wearing sweatpants all the time.

As a Pats fan, I chringed when the Jets took Hill.

He will have a much more productive career than Coples and he gives the Jets that game-changer player on offense that they were sorely lacking.

Great article. Love Vinny and I'd love it if he coached for the Jets in some capacity. An assistant QB coaching spot would be awesome.

Good Ol' Vinny. Loved Hill's enthusiasm at the draft. Kid is excited and ready to step in and do big things.

The key with Hill is patience. He has a lot to learn.

I think we need to manage our expectations a bit. People are comparing this guy to Randy Moss and Megatron, and if his rookie season doesn't produce to that level people are going to be calling him a bust. He's a great pick, and will spread our offense out, but let us be surprised by his superstar potential rather than expect it less than a week out of the draft.

Now all we need is a QB who won't under throw him.

Another "development" pick by the Jets?

If this kid does not contribute immediately, something is wrong.

He will contribute immediately without doing much more than blocking and running a 9 route to pull the safety help and open things up for Holmes.
