The more I watch Stephen Hill's highlights and combine, the more I absolutely love the pick. He is unafraid of any contact and breaks as many tackles as Braylon did. He has an incredible vertical and is as fast as they come. He just throws DBs around in the running game as well when blocking.

If he is successful, which I fully expect him to be, GT is going to be nicknamed WR U. Every receiver drafted out of GT is a perfect receiver for stretching the field.

    1. Calvin Johnson Jr. 6'5 236 lbs. 4.45 40 time

    2. Demaryius Thomas 6'3 224 lbs. 4.36 40 time

    3. Stephen Hill? 6'5 215 lbs. 4.30 40 time

You guys have to be seeing the same things I am.

I love the pick also. he's going to be our deep threat, and I think he will have a great rookie season. I can see the similarities to Calvin & Demaryius.

I'm not coming all over myself yet. I like some of the things I have seen, but he's a string bean and his moves are stiff. Great soft touch on the ball, great straight ahead speed, but no quickness and little elusiveness, a tall man's inability to change direction quickly, and I can foresee injury because of his frame at the pro level. He's going to get hit by much larger and faster players at this level.

Glad you like the pick, but comparing this kid to Calvin Johnson is a bit much, don't you think?

Its underserving... Its like the expectations of Luck being the next Peyton Manning. From a measurement stand point, yeah they are very similar, but dont expect him to be the next CJ. The kid doesnt deserve those shoes to fill.

Jets fans are going to have to be a little patient because he is raw. But I will say this, he does has the upside; probably the most physically gifted WR in the draft.

Calvin Johnson is the best receiver in the league and a HOF talent. He was NFL ready, a polished route runner, and unquestionable stud when he came out of GT. He was the best player in his draft class.

Stephen Hill has 49 career receptions on his resume and has proven he can run a go route.

I'd think that most people would figure out that the comparisons are physical in nature.

DUDE. Demo is a Tebow fan. 9 receptions per game is a career accomplishment to him.

Tebow doesn't have anything to do with this, but hey, if Hill is getting 9 receptions per game this year, that would be a good thing in my book :)

Lets just hope one our star QBs can reach him down field, noticed most passes in college were short, and he had to come back to make the catch most of the time. He really is a sppedy guy nice big long strides, a true deep threat finally

Megatron ran a 4.35 at the combine. It's one of the reasons he shot up the board to #2.

CJ never shot up the draft board. Running at the combine only solidified his position as one of the best prospects in the draft.
