Go to hell Demorio Davis. BC of you we will have to see Wayne Hunter this year. Should have taken Massie.

Nice. I wanted Massie, too, but let's wish our newest player to hell, sounds great.

Is it too late to trade this dude for Jacksonville's punter?

When a potential starting RT, battle tested in the nation's best conference is available (Bobbie Massie) as is a potential starting RB (Lamar Miller) not to mention a Safety drafting a decent ILB is not a good pick. Here's hoping he's great as Scott's replacement but not good value, not at all.

Agreed. Lets give the kid a chance before we label him as Anthony "Heartless" Schelgel please.

Don't like the pick but he's a member of the Jets family.

What a joke. This guy was projected as a 5th round pick.

You don't draft a special teams contributor in the 3rd round.

Massie was still on the board!

He wasn't projected as a 5th round pick. He was projected as a third rounder everywhere i've seen.

You only do if your next pick comes at the bottom of the 6th round. :breakdance:

I think he woulda been a 4th rounder but the Jets don't have a 4th/5th so they had to take him hence why they made him a 3rd rounder. casman took Davis in round 5 in our 7 rder.

Jets shoulda traded back and take whatever 5th/6th round pick they can get and then do this pick. If they did that, I'd be completely on board.

Why are the jets ignoring our biggest needs? (olb, safety, rt) ilb and wr were not big needs.

Anyone notice Massie STILL hasn't gotten picked yet. Obviously something about him teams ain't into.

  20. I was unaware of Davis. Seems like a reach but I wouldn't jump to any conclussions. I like the fact that they addressed the front 7. I watched his game against Northern Illinois on Youtube & came away impressed w/ his athleticism, closing speed & ability to blitz. Than again, that was just one game so who knows. I'll be curious to hear their thought process behind this one.
