Did you guys know that there has only been 3 guys since 1990 who were 6’4" or taller and ran in the 4.3 forty range? Two of them were Megatron and Moss. That should tell you how rare of an athlete Hill is.

P.S. Coaches told him his best time at the combine was actually 4.28!

I can't say I'm thrilled, would have loved Curry, but I don't hate the pick, if it works. I don't know much about him except specs, which are good (except # of catches). Is he another project? Is he an immediate starter? What do the tgg gm's think?

He was billed as an excellent blocker. He has been stuck in the GT triple option offense so that has stunted his route running. Good pick and adds the vertical threat Sparano wants for the offense.

One key point that is unnoticed- guy is a great blocker and is willing to do it A LOT.

Absolutely perfect fit. I would have been happy with him at 16, but in the 2nd? Damn, Im fuckin happy.

He is exactly what we need- big, tall, fast, EXPLOSIVE, great blocker, redzone threat, good hands... The most physically gifted WR in the draft.

Damn, if he turns out well, he will be one heck of a player for us.

I believe he’ll make an immediate impact. Tony will just let the kid run and create explosive, downfield plays while dominating corners in the run game.

    Lovin it.

I watch every gt game. I like hill but he drops too many balls. That is the difference between calvin and him. Calvin caught everything. Good value but i think jeffrey will be better. If both hill and jeffrey came out last year jeffrey would have gone top ten, hill would have been a 6-7 rounder. Just hoping he keeps developing. Good blocker not as good as demaryius thomas was.

Love the pick. Deep speed helps open up Holmes, can run some dangerous 3-4 receiver sets w/ this kid on one side, Tone on the other, Kerley in the slot and Keller at TE or X. Haven't had a true speed threat since the young Lavernius. By all accounts a great kid, the way he blocks shows you something, will take a year or 2 to bloom.

For as pissed as I was with Coples I absolutely love this pick, I think Hill has the potential to be an absolute beast.

    Really like the Hill pick.

    1) You know he can block based on the offense he had in College.
    2) This kid is so damn fast. He will pull a safety out of the box which helps the run game.
    3) Stretching the field also helps Holmes. Jets have upgraded the potential production out of Holmes big time.
    4) He's got size to be a good target in short passing downs & in the red zone.
    5) Plenty of mocks had this guy being drafted earlier, so it's not a reach but also BPA pick.

Jets didn't address the need at RT yet but they did address some other needs that can really pay off.

Best deep threat in the draft, no rookie is going to be better going deep off the play-action than Stephen Hill and that will be one of the primo plays of our offense next year.

6'4, true 4.3 speed, crazy vert, makes the acrobatic catches. Now Sanchez has some weapons to progress with: Santonio, Hill, Keller, Schilens, Kerley.
