I'd substitute Randle for Hill and move him after Jeffery. I'd also reverse Glenn and Martin, but have to agree with the majority of what you posted.
How is he overrated Mambo? Disregarding his combine, I still see a guy who goes up to get the ball, who can get behind a defense, and has some very, very good hands. Additionally, after hearing a few interviews by the guy, he's really well spoken and by all accounts would be a good presence to have in the locker room. I'm convinced that if he were in a conventional offense, he would have been a top-10 prospect. This is why I wanted this guy before everyone took notice when he blew up the combine. His combine only confirmed his physical superiority to most other prospects at the position.
I agree. I think he had the best "hands" catches by far at the combine. Almost none of the balls touched his body. He stretches for the football. His route running is way better than expected given the system he was in. He's probably the only wr I'd take in the 2nd round.
I still think Jeffrey's "issues" are massively overblown, I'd take a shot on him. He reminds me a LOT of Keyshawn when he came out. Sanu would essentially be our new Cotchery if we chose him; he'd be a safe pick with a lower ceiling than the other guys. If we take any of those 3 guys, I'd be happy. Randle intrigues me as well, but I'm not 100% sold.

Unfortunately nearly everyone before your pick has a need at tackle and wr. Buffalo will more than likely be taking the best available tackle, Glenn, Martin, or Adams. Not sure much will be left at tackle or wr...
If Glenn, Hill, or Upshaw are there, you pull the trigger right away. There is a shitload of value in those 3. I personally want Sanu or Jeffery if those three are gone. Curry would be nice too.
I really like hill think he would be a good compliment to Holmes so if we trade up would love it but if we stay put and take ol or lb woul have no problem either.

I have a hard time getting excited for physical freaks who haven't produced much at the college level. That said I thought drafting JPP was a huge reach by the Giants in rd 1 and look what he has become! I just give my two cents, and when it comes to drafting in the first couple of rds I think production is more important than potential... Kind of the Steelers philospohy.

Konz, C/G If Glenn, Martin, and Adams are gone, I prefer Konz and his ability to provide depth all along the line as a 1st round value. I'd love to pick up Glenn/Martin AND Curry. I think that combo would be worth trading up for. G. Iloka in the 3rd!!!!
Not sure why everyone has Martin so high for us. He's not a RT by any means , especially in our system. Adams or Glenn are perfect for us in the second tackle wise. If not OLB is solid with guys like Upshaw, Branch, and Curry (who I don't love) left over. If not either of those , WR is still stacked, guys like Jeffrey, Sanu, Randle, and Hill are all available and would be solid for this team. Watch out for Amini Silatolu, he could be number 1 on our board and can play both Guard and RT out of the gate. I wouldn't be surprised at all if he was the pick.
If we go WR/OL in the 2nd, I would love to see us target Mychal Kendricks in the 3rd, or maybe move back into the second to grab him. He can play ILB or OLB, and gets into the backfield with ease from either spot.
You have to take into account why there was a lack of production, however. It was mostly of no fault of his own; it was just the fact that they don't throw much to the receivers in the triple offense. Again, I think his physical tools are bonuses - the primary parts of his game, including body control and hands appear to be top notch. Although not asked to run a full route tree at GT, he's been working with Megatron this offseason to develop those skills and apparently it showed at his pro day. His physical tools only enhance what he can do with these primary characteristics. If we were talking about Poe, I'd agree 1000%. I don't think you can point to any particular acceptable reason why he didn't dominate weaker competition. However, Hill's a much different case in my opinion.
