Makes it easier when you draft the guy voted most likely to be a bust.

I'm happy with every decision the Jets make. I may not like them all, but they're the NFL coaches and GMs for a reason.

And? What does that mean? Where do they get that info?

As much as people think you can, you cannot accurately predict a players' future success (or lack thereof) before he even plays a down in the NFL.

    Stop complaining.

Damn right. And with all those SB appearances since SB III, we have no reason to question them.

I wanted DeCastro. Between Coples and Ingram I feel the same. Ingram might have been the safer pick but I don't think he has the ability to be anywhere near as good as Coples can be. We will see.

Rex can make Coples into an amazing player. Look at what he did with Maybin.

So, you don't think there is any reason why people might think that, up to and including the questioning of his work ethic and passion for the game?

    Keep blindly buying in.

If you could do better, why are you not an NFL GM?

And, as I said, it's impossible to accurately predict a player's future. How can they even have the slightest idea if he'll be a bust or not?

To be fair if Rex were here, he wouldn't of taken Gholston in the first place

So if the Jets said Sanchez was better than Brees you would agree, because they are the coaches and the GM's?

    Explain the Gholston pick.

I hope the dude becomes the next dominant DE in the NFL, but as a fan, I'm very concerned about drafting a player who apparently takes plays and or games off.

Of course they know more than me or you for that matter. But blindly buying into a franchise with one SB appearance which was over 40 years ago is stupid.

I agree. However I hate it when people act like Rex can coach a turd of shit into a pro bowler just because he is Rex.

As much as I wanted an OLB, and was hoping for Ingram, imagine how dirty our d-line could be with Coples, Ellis and Wilkerson. That 3 man front could do some serious damage in 2-3 years.

Ingram's ONLY issue is short arms

Cople's issue is lack of heart, selfishness, lack of motor etc etc etc

plus he's a pick at a position the team had no need to pick

    I thought Coples was a 4-3 DE.
