Great game. Can't argue with the result, Rangers deserved to win both the game and the series - fine margins, but they deserved it. The only real cloud for me tonight is that Alfie looked at the end like a man who'd played his last game. I desperately hope that's not the case.

Congratulations. I'll be pulling for the Rangers the rest of the way now.

Your team is so close to being in the top tier level...It sucks losing, but knowing that a team with low expectations pushed their opponent to the brink is something good to build on.

Karlsson def looks like the Norris winner they say he is

i don't doubt that for a second, but that's why i find it odd, no contest on what's more rivieting for a sports fan than the NHL playoffs, but that's me.

That was really an impressive performance by this kid. Such a smooth skater. You watch when he charges behind the net with his head on a swivel. Before he gets to the puck he knows where everyone is behind him.

Every so often you can tell a kid just has it. Add to that his size and speed...he is a real interesting watch for the remainder of these playoffs and next year.

Great series...gotta give the Sens credit. Their weakness is their strength..they just rely so much on their defenseman when setting up in the offensive zone....but with that said...pretty impressive back there.

Now its time to give the Capitals back some crap. Never a great matchup and number 8 plays at a different level against the Rangers. This year will be different.

To complete the night it would be sweet to see Jersey go down in OT.

just watched the last 5 minutes again on Tivo, in the 3rd with 1:20 left and the sens pushing hard as ever, Richards swiped an ottowa pass at mid ice and out of instinct shot it right back into the Sens zone and right on goal as well to kill more clock, but if he had another split second to look up and around the rangers had a potential 3 on 1 rush the other way and may well have scored the death goal for the Sens. Do not get me wrong, i'm floating happy as anyone right now, not nitpicking here, but if the Sens had tied it up there after that, they would have definitely went back to that decision in the media. wait a second, why am i even bothering posting this headache shit, they won!!!!!

This is going to be how the Yankees finally got that Angels monkey on their back off of them in 2009, and then go all the way. The Capitals monkey must be kicked to the curb and die. This series against the Sens will give the Rangers some knowledge for the new guys on just how fucking hard it is to win this trophy, they really almost pushed the rangers off the cliff, and now that the Rangers have pulled off an incredible comeback in this series,
i feel it brings alot of many various things for them to draw off of.
once again, Hank is immeasurable, as usual, i am still blown away by his performance tonight, i said god damnit it feels good!!

He's awesome, but I'd probably give it to Weber this year. Actually I'd probably give it to Pietrangelo, but he doesn't have the reputation of Chara so he didn't get a final spot.

Hopefully our performance this season will make us quite attractive to the premier free agents this summer. We have a bucketload of cap space, now we have a team that's not far off contending I'm hopeful that we've suddenly become an option on some important players' lists.

Can't get past Alfie though. I really, really want him to come back for one more season. He was the best player on the ice tonight. Spezza, on the other hand, was the worst. He's trade bait now, for me.

alfie left his heart out there tonight. always been a great great player. game 6 will haunt the Sens more than tonight as they had the knockout punch ready to deliver, but didn't
get it done. as i said, the 2nd period this series was the turning points in all the rangers 4 wins.

Henrik is a God. Plain and simple. He's assuming the role of Mike Richter and running...its fucking awesome.

And this Kreider kid, man he's the real deal. Thankfully Torts saw how dominant he was and had him out there for an good chunk of ice time. I really like that Kreider-Callahan-Stepan line.

    Kreider-Stepan-Callahan. Amazing chemistry.

A lot of people said Kreider would be better in the pros than in college, and they're right. He makes a lot of subtle moves that are wasted around amateur players. If he plays anywhere near this level for the rest of the playoffs, it changes everything.

Now all we need is for Gaborik to show a pulse and we're good to go.

Should be proud of your team Johnny, they played a great series and next year they will be a force in the Eastern Conference. I know I dumped on Neil the whole series but he went out with class on the handshake line, good for him.

Cally was amazing, that being said i thought Kreider was the best Ranger forward out there and should have worn the Broadway hat...
