I don't like Ingram because when I watch the film on him, I keep seeing a guy who gets swallowed up by the OT.

Half of his sacks came in one game against Auburn. He disappeared for long stretches during the season.

If you find someone willing to trade down great, but if not you take your guy.

I don't want to hear Floyd. I get that he's a great prospect, but our offensive line isn't set and that would negate anything a wide receiver could do.

Also, the Jets always trade away receivers drafted in the first round - Rob Moore (cost us a first-round pick even though he came in the supplemental draft), Keyshawn, Santana Moss - so we'd only have him for four years!

If the Jets go Barron I'd have to be okay with it. We have Eric Smith, Tracy Wilson, and LaRon Landry signed on a one year deal with his calf muscle barely clinging to his heel.
IMO, it wouldn't make the same impact as improving the front 7. But if no pass rusher is worth it to Rex then the next best way to disrupt Brady and his TEs is a legitimate safety. He was also a two time captain at Alabama.

It's a safe bet Landry's healthy. He didn't get signed without a physical.

Poe. If Rex approves any other defensive player, then I'm sure it's a good one. And I think almost any first round O-line prospect should help our O-line.

Wow I'm pretty sure that Ingram's arms were well under 30". After they combine they said most safeties had bigger arms.

At his pro day his arms were measured at 29.7"

I don't want an DLineman in 1st, its just not enough of an impact position in a 3-4 to warrant 1st rd picks in back to back years.

Disagree. They just don't rack up the stat sheet, but making the front 7 a force in anyway is a good thing. I don't want a DE only because we are deepest (apparently) at defensive line.

Also on Landry's physical...it's a lot different passing a physical than making contact in all kinds of weird body positions and angles with as much force as both players can muster over the course of a season. His Achilles' will be tested. Hopefully the Jets don't get screwed.

Upshaw because he can't rush the passer, and Poe because he is either boom or bust. There is no in between with him.

Don't want Coples, DE, N Carolina. LAZY LAZY LAZY - don't need another project.

Barron would be OK or the OT from Iowa would be OK.

I'm late but sadly it was the guy we drafted... did this team not learn anything from fucking Gholston? This guy has bust all over him and of course it's the fucking Jets who take him.

Coples wasn't on my want list at all but I don't hate hearing the name. He's 6'5+ and 284 lbs. He's got the ability to rush the passer. If he busts, well then we have a new regime in NY. If he doesn't we have a 14 sacker.

    Either way we win.
