Let's assume the Jets stay at #16. Out of the players being rumored or floated out there for the Jets, who is the one guy that you don't want the Commish to call? For me, it's Melvin Ingram. I just don't see what's to love about this guy.
A player at any position other than DE/OLB, OT, S or WR (RB is fine if Richardson somehow drops that far)
Not really a name but if I hear "The Minnesota Vikings have traded their selection," I will probably have a spasmodic convulsive episode followed by a heart attack. My old roommates can testify, I was freaking out in 09. Then, the trade details were announced and we gave Mangini two condoms and a paperweight. But this year, we aren't moving up to 3 for anything less than a king's ransom.
This is a tough question because there are so many potential reaches for the Jets based on their need for a pass rusher. I'd be really unhappy with Nick Perry or Chandler Jones on the 16. Probably more so with Perry who I do not think is going to be a star rushing off the edge in a 3-4.
I have no interest in Ingram in the first round. Small Arms Small torso Couldn't beat college tackles Has no position No thanks
Ingram, Jones, Barron, and Glenn are names i don't want to hear at 16. (Sorry, broke the one name limit)
there would certainly be a riot if we heard "The New York Jets have traded their entire draft to Miami, and with the 8th overall pick, they select Ryan Tannehill, quarterback, Texas A+M"
Because he's overrated and isn't a very good pass rusher. Better against the run and in coverage. Doesn't solve our problem.
