Exactly. Players like Barron, Brockers, Cox, Tannehill, Gilmore, even Jones are all be talked about with high intensity from teams ahead of us. Out of that group, the only player that I think deserves some of the hype is Cox. Someone good is going to fall to us, which is why all of the Chandler Jones talk is crazy. We are going to get a very good prospect at 16, theres no need to overreact on a player thats a clear reach.

I actually feel the same exact way. I'd rather Mercilus only because, from the tape I saw, he has better counter moves. I also was a little nervous about Perry's answers regarding him playing OLB. Not too much of a concern though. I'd be fine with either one honestly.

Neither guy can play in the 3-4.

The best rushers for us are the guys from Syracuse and Boisie State.

What on earth are you taking about?

Upshaw played his whole career at Bama in a 3-4 system.

And while I dont like Ingram, he is certainly capable of standing up, if anything I dont see him as a 4-3 DE even though he maybe drafted as one.

Even though Upshaw was the best 3-4 OLB in the country at Alabama? Way to destroy all of your credibility...

And before you start with the "He was a JACK LB!!!!" yeah, by name he was. He still played 3-4 OLB the majority of the time and spent less time as a DE.

    EDIT: ^^^Beat me to it

You could certainly make that argument. So the unsexy pick of Riley Reiff would be the way to go.
