I can't see the Jets passing on Reiff and or Upshaw. The Jets need for offensive line depth and a pass rush is too important to take a higher risk. I'm not sold on Dontari Poe just yet.

It appears that Gilmore to the Jags thing has some legs to it. That would be hilarious if it actually happened

Still probably wouldn't be a bigger surprise than when they took Tyson Alualu.

Also, strange how King says Seahawks will take Tannehilll if he's there - doubt they would do that after giving Flynn all that money.

there is no possible way we pass up on riley reiff. i'd be happy if we got him, he could help solidify our line for years to come. im really not sold on dontari poe yet and i'd be disappointed if we drafted him. ever since vernon gholston i always assume the worst

Well Alualu was a mid second projection that year, that was a HUGE HUGE reach. At least most people see Gilmore going in round one

Flynn only has 10 mil guaranteed for a three year deal. Tannehill needs a redshirt any way so it wouldnt be out of the question

DO NOT WANT! Seriously, Jets sign Pouha to an extension. They are grooming K Ellis. They have good depth at D-Line. Why would we draft Poe? Some of these mcoks seem like the guys put in zero effort.

All you need to look at is the Seahawks SHOULD PICK to understand how stupid this mock is. Mark Barron? To the team with the best young safety combo in the league? And the justification is that they'd want to play 3 safeties all the time??? Just wow.

Perhaps he used his notes from a few years ago.

I'd agree, but that would mean at some point in time he actually had notes, which I seriously doubt.

This would be great in my opinion. It would guarantee Ingram falling to at least Seattle, which creates an easier situation for us to trade up to with possibly to KC at 11.

I respect King and love his MMQB article but I just don't see how this is possible. Did he not realize we drafted 2 d-linemen last year and we just resigned Pouha to be our NT? Pretty sure Rex would prefer an edge rusher over another big body in the middle who would have to rotate among our other d-linemen.

Poe is a larger version of Gholsten!! Major Bust!!!!!! Watch his game-film vs. weaker opponents, it would be a horrible pick!

Poe projects to a 3 technique to me. Dwayne Robertson with better knees, no thanks.
