I'm a relative newbie myself. I jumped from the Niners to the Jets in the final year of Herm Edwards' run with the team. At least no one can accuse us of jumpin' on a bandwagon.
Well said. Nearly 30 years of misery for me. On the upside, I still dream of the 41-0 drubbing of Peyton Manning and the Colts in the 2002 WC playoff. That was still the best game I was ever at. Worst game - AFCCG in Pitt 2010. So much for Pitt fans being "good".
Who was it that made the comment about ''rumspringah'' in the other thread? LOL Seriously though, welcome to the agonizing life of being a Jets fan. Are you going to the Buffalo game in Buffalo or NJ? If you're going to the home game and you're a Jets fan, why would you be worried for your safety?
Good luck rooting for this team. You have to prepared for the good and bad times! Congrats on going to a game, something I'm still working on doing. It just never fits into my schedule.
Yeah, im overdoing thes e threads a bit lately. I was never into sports, it hit me late. As far as Tebow, I like his character and if he helps us win, cool but SANCHEZ IS MY BOY he ia the quarterback and I already got my authentic home and away sanchez jersey! Im going to met life and hate big crowds but Im gonna see whats up.
It's not fair to throw all of the 3/12'ers under the bus but there are definitely a lot of them who jumped on the bandwagon solely based on Timmy. Sounds like you're obviously not one of them. The bandwagoners won't last long anyway... that is unless Tebow miraculously becomes our starting QB (no pun intended).
Yes, it's my first post here but I've been a lifelong jetfan. I also lurk the boards here and at jetsinsider. It just seems that since we got Tebow there's been this mysterious influx of new "Jetfans". Don't get me wrong I think Tebow will be good for the team I just question these new so called fans coming along at a time like this. I would just prefer if they came out and said something like " hey I'm a TEBOW fan and I follow whatever team he goes to, Go jets! Hallelujah!"
You didn't answer my question, but I'll answer yours. I was born in new Jersey and was a Jets fan long before moving to Connecticut. Also, when growing up in Connecticut, there wasn't any Patriots fans around. Thats a new phenomena. So, why did you pick the Jets over your hometown Bills?
