NYJUNC maybe it's because we play in the same town but that does not explain why at most other games there are alot /many/ tons of opposing teams fans at Metlife each and every week. Woody and the Jet organization really screwed the TEAM by eliminating the REAL home crowd and now anyone can get in and the do. I will be posting after Thanksgiving and we will all know then how this turns out but I am still in and am pushing ALL my chips into the center of the pot-----there will be a very large Patriot contingent in the crowd on Thanks Giving
There are many more opposing fans at games in the new Stadium b/c, unlike the old building, all the seats are not sold. The Giants have the same problem. It's still 80-90% Jet/Giant fans when they are home but there are way too many opposing fans due to the pricing of the new Stadium.
against one of the weakest scheds in the history of the league a year after you went 16-0. a 5 game swing is a HUGE difference and last I checked you didn't make the playoffs.
I figured you'd bring that up - the most overrated argument ever made. The AFC East / the AFC in general had an easy schedule that year and everybody did decent. Dolfags went 11-5 too for shits sake, the Bills even managed 7-9. That's why 11-5 wasn't enough to get in that year for you guys because of the disparity between the AFC and NFC. If Brady went out in preseason last season, the Pats would've finished 5-11, lets be real. This year probably 6-10/7-9 even with BB stealing tape on the opponents. and Bledsoe is that guy that y'all were in LOVE with up there before Brady made the Patriots what they are today in case you forgot.
you didn't win enough games, the only playoff bound team you beat was the Dolphins. You wnet 1-4 in games aganst playoff bound teams and the 4 losses were by an average of 17.8 PPG compared to 2007 when NE went 6-0 against playoff bound teams and won by an average of 19.7 PPG
just thought id say ill be watching in mine or my grandmas house, with a glass of eggnog and eating a turkey sandwich or piece of pumpkin pie, hoping we can beat fuckin new england
Nice spin. The bottom line is if the Jets were able to beat the Phins AT HOME in the last game of the season, Pats win the AFCE.
if you beat them earlier in the season you wouldn't have needed us to beat them. besides we already had set up your '01 SB run, you wanted more?
night games are the worst! And 4 of them for the suck that was last year! F them schedule-makers and all that ballyhoo!
I'm liking our schedule outside of the back-back West Coast games. I absolutely LOVE that we get to play NE at home on Thanksgiving night. It seems the Jets have been getting a lot of Turkey Day games recently. Nothing better than a big thanksgiving dinner, then relaxing on the couch with the fam to watch the Green & White.
hahahahahahaha. Blaming the Pats missing the playoffs on the Jets not wining a game? Are you being serious here? That's like me saying the Jets didn't make the playoffs this year because the Jaguars couldn't beat the Titans. The Pats didn't make the playoffs that year because they didn't win enough games. If they beat the Phins themselves, the Jets in OT, etc etc they win the division that year.
have you guys seen the "trailer" for the thanksgiving day game? pretty badass hahah http://www.nfl.com/videos/movie-tra...iots-movie-trailer?module=HP11_content_stream
