The Jets are a mediocre, 8-8 dysfunctional football team who added an injured safety and the worst QB in the NFL, but somehow they will go 12-4?

    Good luck with that.

That Thanksgiving game could be Woody's worst nightmare.

The Pats will have the AFCE wrapped up by then and the usual contingent of Pats fans will stay home and enjoy Thanksgiving.

Jets will be floating around .500 and all the corporate, PSL types will also stay home.

Woody will be left with a half-filled stadium on national television.

the season ticket holder isnt necessarily a guy who can go to the tgiving game. so he sells the tickets on stub hub. new england is an hour away and some of their douchey fans cant get to see them as easily in foxboro as they can on thanksgiving day or the meadowlands is closer than foxboro so they buy the tickets.

there will be tons of tickets that are given up for a thanksgiving game, there were a few years ago when the jets played.

we cant sell out a fucking sunday afternoon game these days. what makes you think that 15000 jets fans are going to come out of the woodwork to go watch a game on thanksgiving?

We could totally start out the season 3-5 or even 2-6, and finish it out 7-1 or 6-2.

    What a wonky schedule.

I just think it sucks that youre gonna get all the Tebow douchemonkeys screaming for Sanchez's head early on, before the schedule breaks our way.

Imagine if they put Tebow in week 8 or 9, and have him finish out the season with a hot record, all cuz he got to play the easy games

I wonder if you were this cocky when Bledsoe was your quarter back? Were you even a fan of the Patriots in the 90's? Your team is just like the Colts without your golden boy ; shitty ,normal , an average team.

I'm totally amped for a Thanksgiving tailgate and game. We'll most certainly deep fry a turkey.

Screw your family commitments, buy them tickets too.

And those that don't go? Do like my family did because half of us were in Florida on Easter, just have Thanksgiving a different day, maybe Sunday. It's the thought that counts, after all :D

yeah, kinda fucked up when you think of the potential conspiracy theories at work.

regardless, if the JETS can come out of that early stretch on the plus side of 500 before the bye, they should be in very good shape

The funny part is the Pats haven't had the AFC East wrapped up at Thanksgiving the last two year. So while you use the Jets previous season to predict they go 8-8 you ignore how the AFC East played out the last two seasons. :breakdance:

Maybe b/c we play in the same town? had that been a Giant home game it would have been near 50/50 as well. That's very different than Pats/Jets. W/ the new Stadium we have more opposing fans but unless we are out of it by Thanksgiving it will be an 85-90% jet crowd as usual.

The QB wasn't btrought here to be a QB and you still have no safeties and mediocre corners and added an overrated WR who had one good year when his team stunk and needed to pass all the time. You won't get lucky again by hosting an 8-8 team in the div rd.

I may be crazy but I don't think our early sched will be as difficult as it is being made out to be. The Pitt game scares me but 3 of the first 4 are at home and Hou lost their best defensive player(Ryans not Williams). I think we will get off to a fast start, things can change quickly and we still have plenty of offseason to go but I think we have a great chance to be at worst 4-2 heading into that first Pats game.

2012 is a new year, Hou and SF are not guaranteed to be good plus we get them at home(10 AM PT time for SF), we have dominated Buffalo lately and Indy will have a rookie QB.

Once again Patriots have an easy road to the playoffs.
First few JETS games are going to be touch. We face some of last years top scoring defenses.

we play almost the same schedule of opponents as NE, if they have an easy road so do we.

Actually teams with the easiest schedule have failed to make the playoffs the last 5 years- includes the Pats with Matty at QB. If they make the playoffs they will be bucking a trend.
