This. Or seven hours ahead. I haven't missed a live game in the past six years, even when this fucking team went 4-12, twice. Fuck these pussies who think that the game ending at 11.30 is late.
Well ESPN confirmed the schedules coming tommorow at 7. 25 more hours and counting until I can start making plans...
Lets see........ 49ers at jets Sunday night week one Jets at steelers 1pm Sunday week two Jets at dolphins 4pm Sunday week three Week 6 bye
I think Jets open at home vs SD Week 1 early game. The league likes to match up teams with similar records from the previous year on opening day. Look for four scheduled prime time games including one Patriots game, the Jax game (Tebow bowl), Pittsburgh, and usually there is one NFC game I say the 49ers this year.
I can understand 1 PM games. Even 4 PM games a little How do you manage the 8:30 PM games though? You should be nominated as most loyal fan if what you are telling is true.
If I have school or work on Monday (/Tuesday if the Jets are on MNF) then to bed "early" after watching a 1PM game and then wake up 10 mins prior to kickoff or if I have th next day free, it's no biggie to stay up until the game starts. But I got to tell you, NFL Game Pass is something I'm forever grateful. It was nice, prior to the 2008 season to go through crappy streams to watch the Jets play or then get lucky enough to catch them on TV (probably once or twice max). And actually I wasn't completely honest: now that I thought about it, there was one game I missed. I was on holiday in Cape Verde during the 2008 home game vs the Bills and couldn't access the internet.
Generally, tickets are sent to ticketholders around July or so. Teams don't put them on sale until the summer. If you buy tickets from a ticket broker site, you can buy them far in advance and they'll give you a date you can expect them by. No earlier than July at best, and sometimes closer to the start of the season.
Why would the NFL feature that game when they can have Broncos at Pats, with Brady versus Manning? 49ers at Jets has no national appeal at all.
Doesn't Manning vs Brady usually fall in the middle of the season? Last year it was Nov/Dec, year before it was before Thanksgiving Thursday, year before it was 4th and 2 which was around Nov. also. That might be a reason...
Yea, but the storyline of Manning playing with a new team, one year removed from playing, versus his biggest rival has national appeal for a week 1 primetime game.
I heard rumors that we open with Miami at Home and then head to NE week 2 for SNF. Someone posted that under a Cimini article, saying they were the two games that have been "leaked" so far. Take it for what it's worth. I suppose it would be good to play the Dolphins Week 1 and get some revenge for last years finale.
Good storyline - but an incredible BS break for New England if they can get a rusty Manning in his first game back adjusting to a new team. Its for that reason I don't think the NFL would make that matchup in week 1. They'll give Manning a few cupcakes to start. This game will be week 8 or something.
I'd be surprised if the Jets open with two divisional games. Although the Pats/Jets week 2 has been like clockwork recently.
Yea it was about as bad as I can remember it ever being. So many games I wouldn't even watch on a Sunday afternoon.
I guess the conspiracy theory is that the Jets will play good defenses early to hurt Sanchez and get Tebow in the games sooner.
It was disgusting, only 1 good game was the Steelers-49ers the rest was a complete joke and one sided games all year.
