That's it exactly. I consider 2012 underway because free agency for the up coming season is already started.

 

Is it possible to trade him, and split his guaranteed salary? The only reasoning I can even think they allowed him to pursue a trade is because they would be able to move his salary. If not, then allowing him to seek a trade would have been moronic. Moronic is a generous.

 

So I guess there wasn't much trade interest eh? He and the Jets have only one option, which is for him to shut up and play.

 

There isnt much trade interest bc hes old and starting to become less effective in a pass happy league now who needs him.

 

Well I don't see him continuing the team after '12 but who knows, what if this year he totally blows our mind... That's wishful thinking..
