Haha, I guess there have been a chain of pretty big backs at USC recently. The one I was referring to and picked now is Broderick Green. 2 years at USC before he transferred to Arkansas. There are always more USC players to select!
Holy shit, talk about a name I havent heard in awhile. I remember back in 07 when people were talking about him being the next great back at USC. Thanks for the flashback there MB. He had a great year in 09, he'd be a nice goal line back for any team in the NFL.
Thanks and you're welcome haha. He just wasn't a fantastic fit with Petrino's offense after all, but he did have a good year in it in '09. They had so many RBs for so many things, and add in his injuries, he just couldn't grasp a hold of a fulltime role. I wasn't gonna put much effort toward a perfect fit, as I just wanted to fit in a few former Trojans because know it will happen. Maybe not 3, but I could see 2. But it's possible Carroll has something in mind for him, as he did recruit him for a certain position in USC's WCO and he still has a WCO under him in Seattle. He doesn't have much explosiveness to his game, nor does he always run with the expected style that comes with his size. Not that Mike Robinson is going anywhere with that new contract, but maybe if Green hung on the roster he could contribute a little more as a runner then Robinson can...
