You obviously can't read. It says Smith visited as well as Floyd. Floyd is the main guy we want, hence the title.
#1 there is a thread on Floyd's visit already. #2, how do you know which guy we are more interested in? By we, I of course mean the Jets. Harrison Smith is a 2nd round prospect. Just because we spend far more time talking about our first round, and thus haven't talked about Smith much on TGG, doesn't mean he isn't higher on the Jets 'want' list.
Is this Bakermaker running TCGF's computer?? All joking aside, I would be fine with both players. All this pass rushing talk is about to make my head explode.
I'd like Floyd for his blocking and toughness alone. If we did got Floyd round one who is the best rush backer to take in the 2nd?
I'd still rather get OLB first, unless they're all gone. Floyd is good, but I think we can get away with drafting WR in the 3rd round and still be okay.
Floyd is impressive, but if you look at the numbers, this guy put up comparable stats against quality competition: http://espn.go.com/college-football/player/_/id/236687/nick-toon And you could probably get him in the 3rd round or later.
If the Jets don't land Floyd in the 1st, I really, really hope they go with Toon later on. That would be so great to have another Toon on the squad.
