Woody seems to be having a really adverse reaction to the Giants winning their 2nd Super Bowl in the last 5 years, both over the ogre that sits on top of the AFC East.
Just because the camera's of HBO are there doesnt mean a team cant focus on the season as much as they could if they werent. They had a pretty good season the first year they were on it with their locker room full of "trouble makers". I for one would love to see the Jets do Hard Knocks again. I dont buy the whole its a distraction thing especially since the Jets were pretty successful the first time they were on it.
I didnt mind headlines like bring in Favre, or L.T., or Holmes because they were legtimate improvements. The Tebow thing is just a joke, it makes no sense, and you dont see teams like the Falcons, Bucs, 49ers, or anyone else bringing in Tebow despite having huge questions at QB.
Any venture that decays into Timothy Tebow ass pounding Kate Upton while Mark 'pouts' on the futon is must see TV. How in the good name of Revis Christ can ANYONE be against this? Lombardi be damned!!!

The Falcons have the same questions, well not quite as big, as the Colts had after Peyton Manning's first 4 seasons in the NFL when he hadn't won a playoff game yet. Matt Ryan is going to be a top 5 QB in this league if he's not quite there yet. The 49ers have what the Jets will have in 3 years if Sanchez only progresses a bit each season. They were smart enough to stick it out with Smith while they built the rest of the team.
After last years meltdown and this years circus like atmosphere with the whole Tebow crap, i'm hoping we just stay away and get down to what's really important.
You're missing my point. I never said Woody was great OR that there isn't cause for concern. All I said I suggested is that "Woody doesn't care about winning" and "the jets are a complete circus" may not be true. This whole thread is based on pure speculation by the REAL circus that is in place; the media. What happend to objectivity and people taking negative articles w/ a grain of salt? Why is everything the media tries to spew about the organization pure gold?
