    A franchise Punter is desperately needed.I commend the Jets for giving TJ Conely a shot..but he is average on his best day. The Punter spot has been shaky for a long time..Weatherford was never reliable in a big spot.

    Folk shouldn't be going anywhere. He's a talented kicker who has earned his role with this team (Until he hooks a game winner against New England:))

    I like Folk, but he only hit 75% of his FGA last season, and he leaves a decent amount to be desired on kickoffs. I'm all for an upgrade at both K and P

    Weatherford wasn't reliable for the jets come playoff time. He was for the Giants. Some players just don't gel well with different schemes and different coaches. Expecting Wes Welker to thrive in anything other than the Patriots system would be pretty hit or miss for example.

    This guy must be the perennial training camp "competition". He certainly was never going to win the job in Oakland, Detroit or Pittsburgh.

    me too. everytime he hits a field goal, they should just show clips of swayze kicking ass in roadhouse on the jumbotron
