Im getting the whole youre retarded thing from teh fact that you called yesterday's loss a "tough, tough loss'...stop that nonsense. Looks like my boy Cashman has delivered another NL piece of trash pitcher to us. Thanks Bri
Eh. I'll take an outing like today's all year long. The important thing about the signing is that he got a guy who's likely to eat some innings with better results than Burnett for less money, and he's only on a one-year deal.
Id like alittle better outing...especially not knowing which HUghes is gonna show up this year and not knowing how PIneda is gonna blossom in NY. Did Jeter really need rest today hahahah wtf
Well, yeah, but it's one outing, right? What else do you want? David Price - a stud - has looked worse today. Can't judge his performance based on fears about how other pitchers will do. Dude gave up half of the runs CC did. You worried about the Fat Man, too? I'd give him and A-Rod every third day off, especially on turf. ETA: Or maybe every other day. Nice DP, Cap'n.
I assume you mean every 3rd day as DH not totally off. I am a wee bit worried about CC actually. Mostly because Im a pessimist. But I certainly did not like his last two months last year.
Holy shit... I've had too many beers. I thought it was 4-2 Yanks, not 6-2 Rays. What the hell? Fuck Kuroda. He sucks.
About Kuroda sucking? Yeah, kinda. About not knowing the score? No, unfortunately. I've been working all day... got home a while ago and put the game on my computer. Saw 4-2 and for whatever reason thought it was the Yanks winning... didn't even see those other two runs score last inning. I had the window minimized while I was doing some wrap-up work and Michael Kay and his dulcet tones never explicitly stated the score, as far as I heard. ETA: But yeah, six runs in 5 2/3 innings is not good. I think he'll be better, but I would never have said I'd take that every time out or that Price has looked worse (although he has struggled).
hahaha thats great...in fairness to Kuroda, Nunez still cant field a baseball and cost him 2 unearned runs in the first
0-2 isn't a good way to start the season. Luckily, its only baseball and Yankees can recover from losses to get back on track.
damnit the boys look flat out there, retool and turn this thing around and get off the schneid. 3 hits all day, not too pleasing to the eye but they'll get it turned around. sooner rather than later i hope.
