FWIW, Tonight 4/4/12 at 6 P.M. they're featuring the NY Jets and their possible 1st Rd targets. Probably nothing we already know, but you might want to tune in. My guess, you're probably going to hear a lot of Barron, Brockers & Upshaw talk.
They talked up Floyd yesterday and that he might not get past the Dolphins. Please Fins do us a favor something about Floyd I don't like or maybe its just the Notre Dame thing. The Jets are in a sweet spot and need to hit a home run in this draft with the first two picks with players that can contribute right away.
Trust me you don't want Floyd in Miami....he COULD give Revis fits with his size with enough seasoning. Revis, the best corner in the game! He was on the same tier as Julio Jones and AJ Green....Floyd brings imposing size, underrated speed(Not a burner but still not a slug), great aerial body control, yards after the catch and is a terrific open blocker. Great hands too when he concentrates.
Yesterday, Mayock was saying he thinks there's no way Floyd gets past the Jets. Also, from what I've seen on NFLN, they have mentioned the Jets and Barron a bunch of times. (Yesterday, Casserly and Charles Davis had a brief segment on Barron & Harrison Smith). Personally, I'd like to see the NFLN (specifically Mayock) speak about how Dont'a Hightower would/wouldn't fit with the Jets, both in his rookie year and going forward, even as a potential replacement to Bart Scott. (FTR, I'm a big Hightower fan, so that's who I want most, although, I won't be disappointed by any other player who can help the team immediately.)
I'd love to get Brockers but I don't see any way he falls past the Cowboys at 14. I'd really love to see the Jets trade down to 23+ and pick up an extra 3rd and get Hightower.
+10000000. Floyd is the real deal. Wouldn't be surprised to see him have a better rookie year than Blackmon.
And it does not help that mid sentence he starts screaming. And it sounded like he put the Philly game on Sanchez.
Schien: "Brilliant" getting Tebow. loves him for the Wildcat. Defense is key.....Upshaw ..."can't miss", "no brainer"....."#1 on radar". Barron also a possibility. "#2 on radar" Floyd he likes, but only after he was questioned.
Blame your cable company, not NFLN..in fact just call them up and say me and my 20 million buds are willing to pay the extra 5 bucks a month (or whatever they want) to get it and they will have it tomorrow.
