It seems like Cena might have done something or is finally being looked upon differently backstage... he looked really pissed during the match on Sunday.. then got destroyed by Brock and looked ridiculously unenthused about the whole thing when he came out and when he was getting F5ed. Like his heart wasn't in it. Just what I think. I'm going to post some of the pics I took at WrestleMania
Yeah man. Undertaker and Paul Bearer. Paul Bearer used to stroke the urn and the Undertaker would get magical powers from it lol.
Look I was crazy about Brock Lesnar back in like 2002...He was the most menacing wrestler and probably the most unbeatable since old school undertaker of the early 90's. But he's been out so long and now he looks lets be honest...chunkier and not as mega-jacked. He def is not going to F-5 the Big Show anytime soon.
Brock has had two bad diverticulitis surgeries over the last 2 years. He got his ass kicked in his last UFC fight. I know wrestling is fake, but these guys are athletes for sure. It's going to be interesting to see how much abuse his body can take at this point in the game.
Oh man, I still remember to this day the absolutely EPIC Lesnar vs Kurt Angle storyline (My favorite wrestler right next to the Rock of all time) Wrestlemania 18 I think it was where Lesnar and Angle were just ridiculous with F-5's and Angle slam's...WWE and Kurt Angle should have worked this shit out....
and Lesnar did the shooting star press and completely botched it. That match was fantastic though.. I'm really glad he's back.
That was some good shit back in the day. That was the matchBrock tried to do a shooting star press and almost died. Crazy shit.
I remember Lesnar vs Goldberg at Wrestlemania with Austin as referee. Both had expiring contracts and were leaving WWE, the crowd was booing both of them it was fuckin gold. Austin ended up beating the shit outta both of them and drinking beer in the ring. Funny that Lesnar is being cheered so heavily now. Just goes to show you the lack of good characters in the business today. The writers suck balls now.
Yup. They have to rely too much now on older stars coming back. However, Brock was great in the ring. He had so much promise. It's great to see him return to his roots.
Nobody remembers that Brother Love was the original manager of the Undertaker until he "sold" the contract to Paul Bearer who apparently was a friend of Rick Rude. It made sense because Bearer used to work in a funeral home. I can remember the Taker getting KO'd and then Bearer would raise the urn and Taker would rise back up. If I remember correctly Undertaker had an epic battle with The Ultimate Warrior and had the first casket match. I don't remember his first match but I remember him being teamed up with Ted DiBiase at Survivor Series and destroying Koko B Ware. Of course I'm old enough to remember when The Undertaker wrestled in WCW under the name Mean Mark and his finishing move was to tightrope along the rope and punch his opponent in the heart. Sadly I heard Brother Love suffered two massive heart attacks last month. I think today the WWE has more talented and better athletes then they've ever had but they lack personality. I was thinking about it the other day but I can remember when I could watch an hour show on a Saturday morning with 6 or 7 matches. Now you maybe get 2 or 3 matches in that hour. I think the lack on storyline comes from the lack of competition, TNA reminds me of Pre Nitro WCW and there really isn't a fringe group like ECW around to steal viewers away.
I still remember the Undertaker vs Undertaker battles growing up, I was like damn put that bitch in a casket. The real one did.
Speaking of Brother Love, did anyone hear Lawler's inside joke at WM? "That suit is so ugly, it would give Brother Love a heart attack!"
