Nice pick BTB , one of my many sleepers in this draft. Shawn Loiseau is extremely underrated and a beast. He needs to be groomed but on the right team hes a future starter.
You have to think the Bears would be the right spot for a sleeper LB to be groomed to become a starter. Kinda makes me wish I hadn't drafted Cole but you gotta go with the guys on your board. The Bears are done picking and I have to say I think they had a very good draft... added lots of weapons on offense, grabbed a DE to play opposite Peppers and picked up some depth at LB.
Definitely a perfect staff and a group of players to grow around . The Bears would be an excellent spot for him. I want him on the Jets badly, he'd become a fan favorite after a few years. I wish there was more tape of him online because he is the kind of player that just stands out on every play, which is very enjoyable to watch. I like your Bears draft, while looking through it you definitely revamped the Offense and Front 7. My only big concern is OLine. I've watched Wynn in college and he should be a nice project for any NFL team, but not having any starting additions to the OLine could be very risky.
Hey Johnny thanks for making my pick (you recieved my board from WW right?). Paige-Moss is a BIG character concern but in rd 7 it's a risk worth taking...
Yeah he forward your board to me. As much as many hate Moss, he's worth a gamble in the 7th, I had him on all of my boards. He could have success like Blount did with character concerns attached to him and that's what I think you have to hope for. He can contribute, just how much will depend on the head coach.
Someone brought up Miles Burris in another thread and I checked him out and the kid was everywhere on the field. He would be lined up on one side and chase down a WR on a screen on the other side of the field. He was really impressive. I would love if the Jets draft him in the later rounds. He seems relentless and someone that could be great for this team. I mean even if he couldnt make an impact on defense, I think he would be an outstanding STs player. Whats the knock on him? Why is he projected to go so late? Yesterday is the first Ive heard of him so I dont know much about him...
Had to slip a USC player in the Seahawks draft, espcially one that is a favorite of Carroll and conviently fits a need. JTJ jokingly suggested I select Galippo this year after I drafted 3 Trojans in a row with the Panthers in 2011. Kiffin never really like him, I think he tried too hard to usher in his own players into the lineup. Not saying Galippo wasn't without flaw. My Seahawks draft is done: Rd 1 - Quinton Coples, DE, North Carolina Rd 2 - Zach Brown, LB, North carolina Rd 3 - Greg Childs, WR, Arkansas Rd 4 - Brandon Mosley, OT, Auburn Rd 6 - Marcus Forston, DT U of Miami Rd 7 - Chris Galippo, LB, USC
I expect your 2013 draft class to include the likes of Barkely, Robert Woods, and TJ McDonald at minimum.
Yeah I should have addressed that earlier but it got to a point that no real starting caliber interior OL were available so I just went for BPA to fill needs. Maybe in that 4th round we could have taken a guard but obviously your never sure what's gonna be around later in the draft. Sadly I think Loiseau is the type of kid that ends up in Cheatsboro with Darth Bellichick. Let's hope not. With Burris he was invisible in the games against better teams. He was essentially shut down against Michigan but it's hard to judge. Obviously the Wolverines have the talent to gameplan around him. He reminds me of another SDSU player in Kirk Morrison, a kid with a good mind for the game and always seemed to be around the ball. I don't think he's as athletic as Morrison but I do think in the right system at the very least could be a quality special teams guy.
That would be the perfect scenario to guarantee your GMd team a Superbowl. MG should be the Jets GM next year, draft all USC players, have them join our USC players, and the Jets start a dynasty.
