these are hand-timed 40s and I will update periodically Richardson 4.58/4.58 5'10"/227lbs Upshaw 4.81/4.81 Barron 4.54/4.73 looked uncomfortable getting set for the 2nd one
Belichick, Garrett, and Payton are in attendance, along with Rob Ryan. No sign of which Jets personnel may be there, yet. I see some personnel from the Colts, Titans, Texans
damn Richardson looks like he's much faster than a 4.58... Guess hes got good pad speed... On another note, looks like Bellidouche is trying to swoop up Barron with one of his 1st rd picks...
I'm reading on another message board that Richardson's "official" time may have been 4.51 and Upshaw at 4.77, but no proof for now *edit* ESPN confirms 4.51 for Richardson, and knocked a Browns scout on his ass during a drill
Yeah, ESPN both showed a updated 4.51 for TR and a 4.77 for Upshaw. Looks like the watches were initially a bit slow like the 1st one, as all the times got better when they were made official.
I guess the Browns were pretty upset by that. They left after his workout while Upshaw and Barron were still working out.
I think we need to draft o-line in the first 2 rounds. We drafted defense with our first 2 picks last season. Sanchez had absolutely no time in the pocket last year he was getting pounded every game.
I thought he would have spent this time cutting weight to be around 265, instead he adds on a couple pounds.
Upshaw is getting into no-man's land at 278. That's not a linebacker at the NFL level, it's a 4-3 DE. I'm wondering if the prognostications that he has no position are starting to get to him. 278 with a 4.77 is starting to sound like a rush end.
I like Upshaw, but I can't say I'm not concerned about this. I think Hightower lacks athletic red flags, helps us just as much, and can be had later. I'm all for trading back and grabbing him. -X-
