the late rounds are when some guys slip through the cracks. Everybody knows the top guys (rounds 1-2) because we know about this, people spend time looking at the 3-4 round guys. Rounds 5-7 are always interesting. Everybody starts to place different values on different prospects.

I like it, because it also gives us a reminder that sometimes people slide on draft day, just because. Sometimes there is no rhyme or reason to certain prospects falling, and its fun to follow.

For instance, I can't wait to see where one such controversial prospect is going to go. He has high round potential, and low round attitude, mixed with piss poor athletic numbers. Can't wait to see what happens with him.

I know what your saying, there was one particular player I was leaning towards with the Chargers but I feel he'll be there when I pick later on in the draft.

I shouldn't have that attitude as 3 guys I had on my board all went really quickly. Criner was a guy I targeted day 1 with SD and was hoping he'd fall after an unspectacular combine.

What's amazing is what one site says about one player another says something completely different. It's a matter of doing the homework and hoping that your guy is there.

I was assuming a restructure. They could cut him for sure but If we dont get a starting LB this year (somehow) then we're in trouble and may need to keep him.

I'm not saying it because it's my team but I really think SD is having a great draft. They got their pass rushing 3-4 DE/OLB. Then they get a solid starting safety in round two to compliment Weddle. Now we grab a starting lineman who will likely start day 1.

Totally agree but I just wonder if we'll leave a big hole at OLB. Id like for us to look at Shaun Phillips or Cameron Wake. Even though theyre on the older side theyd be very effective for us.

He wouldnt, but the Boyz mock in here would be incredible for us.

We get a dominant body for the DL, a good OLB, and a mauling guard with experience at tackle.

Id be very very very happy with Brockers/Branch/Washington as our 123 picks

Went with Antonio Allen. The Lions need a strong safety badly, especially one who can stop the run. Allen is decent in coverage and is one of if not the best run stopping safeties in this draft.

Need was extreme and the value was okay so I went with my gut.

Surprised Robinson lasted so long, after he blew up the combine I have him in the top half of the 2nd round value wise.

While some might label him as a "workout warrior" because of his blazing 40 time, he did have 10 interceptions in his career at UCF so it's not like he did not produce.

The Steelers secondary is basically the reason "The One That Shall Not Be Named" and the Broncos advanced out of the wild card round.
