I presume you're referring to a Gators board somewhere, Cman, as the only other Jets or NFL board I can think of to which you might be referring has no desire or tolerance for the kind of muppets that TGG seems to have attracted lately. Also, you know the rules about using TGG to try and recruit members for other boards.

I'm activated. I'm alive. First post. Name is Rick and I am a Rev. Have always been more of a player fan, than a team guy. Always loved players with flair. The Jets are to blame for that, as Namath was one, along with guys like Maravich, Earl the Pearl, Isaiah, Magic, Barry Sanders, Montana, Jake Plummer and now I see that same quality in how TT plays. Not pretty but entertaining as heck! (I told you, I'm a Rev.) I am looking forward to a very entertaining year watching the Jets. If this works, it could be really good!
Is Tim Tebow a Jet? Why are Tebow fans not allowed in the Jet forum? The Main forum say what they want about Tebow ,but can only post in the basement? I really don't understand this whole set up. TIM TEBOW IS A NEW YORK JET.
80 % of the new threads in general discussion pertained to TT, actually I think this was a great idea....something the donc boards didn't think of..cudos to the mods
Oh, and I spent some time going through the Bronco forums today, there was a lot more hate for TT right at first when he joined them, that sort of subsided, but there were some persistent nay sayers.... Jets fans have been a lot more open minded about him becoming a Jet (of course, they have seen him play in the NFL now)
It's just a matter of organization. Tebow generates a shitload of discussion and it was overwhelming the main Jets forum to the point where it seemed like a Tebow forum instead of a Jets forum. Now all the Tebow talk is in one place and the Jets forum once again looks like a Jets forum. What's so terrible about the Tebow forum?

I Never said I was a Jet fan. I just would like to know why Tebow fans are subjected this this kind of treatment. I thought The Gang of Green was a JETS fan forum. TIM TEBOW IS A JET But his fans can stay down here away from the REAL fans

This is first and foremost a Jet fan site. You are welcome to join in on Tebow discussion, it's just kept in this sub-forum. The main forum was out of control, and this is a way to keep our community running. I guess you need to be a Mod or been part of this community before Tebow was a Jet to understand.
Yeah, started watching Jake in college while living in Phx. That Rose Bowl title game his senior year, was a great one. Plus he had a good run with the Broncos, but certainly not in the same class as the others mentioned.
It's not to segregate fans it's to segregate topics. The real NYJ fans want to talk about things other than Tebow. If the Tebow trolls want to come up top and talk Jets football they are more than welcome, but since they don't actually care about this team they find themselves here in the sub-forum. Their choice.
