Tells me trading back into later Rd 1/eartly Rd 2 isn't too bad of an idea.

Not Tanny's style, he's too impatient.

The depth of our team is weak due lack of draft picks.

I want us to trade back really badly. There is a ton of talent at the end of the 1st and the 2nd. If we trade back and get 4 picks in the first 3 rounds, we could end up with 4 solid contributors at positions of need.

Like you said though, I doubt we do so. Theres a better chance that we trade up than down, sadly.

The Jets have done well trading up...Revis, Harris, Sanchez (didn't give up much), Greene, Keller, Kerley.

After a while, trading up effects the depth of the team and lack of developing players.

I'll be happy keeping our picks (10), 4 comps you can't trade, as long as a good value is available.

Caught between 2 guys at a position, thinking it through. There is really nothing available in round 2.

Took Sanders whose a high if not mid 2nd rounder. Sanu was the final WR who I liked in that top to mid 2nd round so we will address WR later.....need a future RT to save Gabbert though and Sanders should be that with enough seasoning.

Looking at all the OT/OG, 3-4DE/4-3DT, and WRs going at the end of first/start of 2nd, holy crap.

Randle,Adams, Cox, Osemele, Still, Martin, Hightower, Jeffery, Sanu, Sanders, Worthy

The thought of getting 2 of all them for our first is scary.

But I think wed also need to see most of the worthwhile 3-4 OLBs be off the clock when we pick, or else Tanny wont show patience

Great pick Casman with Worthy. I think he's the best DT in the draft.

    1. I'm here to make the pick WW

    2. A bit late to explain the Dolphins pick but here goes: I think it was a bit of a reach to draft Tannehill that high but I don't think the Dolphins will suck enough to be in a position where next year they're surefire to get a better prospect. With Moore and Garrard on the team Tannenhill can sit on the bench for a year and learn from someone who has taught up a pretty good QB in Green Bay. Having his college coach will help. Tannenhill + 1 year of NFL training will be better than any rookie QB next year not going into the top 5/10.
Also with the new rules it costs less financially to throw the dice on a 1st rd QB.

The only players I would've picked over him were the 2 QBs, Kalil, Richardson and Blackmon.

All in all it was a pretty low-risk move and, considering how important QBs are, it's worth it.

Thanks, the top 6 or so DTs are all relatively close to me. I had a tough choice between Worthy and another guy, but figure Worthy has a real high ceiling. I would think Carolina would be wise to something similar and see what DT falls to em in the 2nd.

Clock is running short for Jetfanmack and the Bills. What would happen now?

EDIT: Can't pick for em, 4 picks away.

Maybe internet problems... or aliens kidnapped him... I'm going to go with the latter. Should someone make the pick instead of him since 2 hours passed?

That is the better move and I would but I can't.

If anything send me a top 2 board in a PM and I can put it in for you Mambo. No reason to wait on sleep for this.

Sorry, as soon as I got home, my dad asked me to help with something. I posted on my phone I was about to pick, then I got sidetracked almost immediately.

    Bills just took Curry.

Curry is a hell of a talent tho they signed Mario to big money at OLB. Still can't blame you though as Lights Out is a IR candidate year after year.

I got a good feeling on Curry as a sack artist moving forward.
