I wonder would Colts have a press conference for Stanton just like how the Jets have one for Tim Tebow

Sad day for the franchise...I hope the Jets do something special for him when the Colts come into town.

    Jets Ring of Honor, hopefully.

    Signing bonus

However, this also means were gonna get a draft pick for him (prolly a 7th this year or next)

Afterall we just traded the Colts a decent second string QB thats only going to cost them 750k.

Not a bad deal for either side.

Hell if its a 7th this year all the better since itll be the first pick of the round.

I heard it's a good will gesture and the Jets got nothing back, which is how it probably should be.... Who the heck is giving them a pick for him? They could have just signed him a week or so ago.

Colts acquired QB Drew Stanton from the Jets in exchange for undisclosed considerations.
Stanton joins Trevor Vittatoe as the lone two quarterbacks on the Colts' offseason roster. That will change in five weeks, of course. The Jets were lucky to get anything for Stanton after it became clear he'd be elsewhere following the addition of Tim Tebow. Stanton, 28 in May, is an athletic signal caller lacking accuracy and passing technique. He's not a natural thrower of the football. He is a competitive quarterback with a strong arm, however, and went 2-1 as a spot starter for the Lions in 2010. He'll likely be Andrew Luck's backup in Indianapolis.

Undisclosed considerations,,, that's like 20 bucks... not a pick.

They should have called it a gift then and not a trade.

Who the fuck does this guy think he is?

Cimini wrote earlier that he gave the Jets a preferred list of destinations.. Drew Stanton.. a preferred list of destinations. HAHAHA

and then his agents tweets: "Excited for the #Colts to get @drewstanton a leader, winner, and QB not a gimmick to sell tickets."

fuck off Stanton.. I forgot all that winning he did as the backup QB for the worst team in the last decade
