We play in Miami and Jacksonville, the Tebow cohort will be out in full force filling up both stadiums. I think this is one of the unnoticed effects of the trade. I know there is a strong Jet presence in Miami every year, but this year with Tebow and how chaotic the dolphins are I think we might be seeing 80% green and white in the stands.
Can't say the Jets need any more of an advantage against the Jags, but I like combining the ***** effect with a crappy dolphins season. Green out Miami.
South Florida really isnt that big on Tebowmania. Northern Florida yes, but South Beach its all about the U.
When Tebow went to Miami last season for the Florida gators nat champ anniversary the stadium was full of Tebow fans. I'm sure some of them will make the trip.
Fuck Florida. Fuck Rick Scott. Fuck Miami Beach. And fuck all the retirees. My grandmother and her sisters/brothers too. (Not to mention my aunt and uncle who live in Jacksonville -> its ok, They are Giant fans anyway) Die in a gay teal fire
you know nothing about his popularity down here the Broncos game this past year was 30% Gators/Broncos fans and most of those tix were bought before he was announced as the starter for that game you combine that combo with the normal 30% JETS overrun in a Fins home game, you could see a 50/50 split if not more depending how the fins are going you are correct when you say MORE popular in northern/central florida, but many many Gators live in South Florida and many many Gators came out to support him
I live in South Florida. I'm just telling you how I see it. I see more U shirts around than Tebow/Heat/Marlins/Dolphins stuff.
I totally get that, my point was not that Miami is a town of the U versus UF my point and I should have made it clearer was that the Tebow factor at the fins home game completely changed that fanscape at the stadium
Yea Im sure Tebow fans would make the trip down to south florida its not like its that big of a trip. Jacksonville will probably be happy when we play down there as it will finally sell some tickets. @Jax and @Miami are 2 very winnable road games for us. If we take care of business at home like we did last year then we should do well. Our schedule appears pretty favorable this year with the NFC west too.
