Even I can pick the top 2. Luck to Indy, RG3 to Skins
    3-Minn-Kalil
    4- Browns-Blackmon
    5-TB- Claiborne
6-Rams-TRICH- Jackson is getting old and is always hurt.
I think the top 6 are set, the order may change.
    7-Jags-Ingram
    8-Fish-Tanneyhill
    9-Car-Poe
    10-Buff-Reiff
    11-KC-Keuchly
    12-Sea-Coples-Biggest dog in the draft
    13-Cards-Martin
    14-Dall-Barron
    15-Phil-Cox
16-Jets-Upshaw. I'm not sure here but plenty of options. I believe they like Branch also

Well if it goes down like that you can't argue with Upshaw on the 16. I might trade down the pick to whoever wants Floyd on the 18, 19, 20 and try to get Hightower instead.

I do think the Jets will go OLB if they get the chance but I don't really think Upshaw is going to be a great ROLB. If he plays on the outside he'll wind up settling in on the strongside is my guess but I really think he is going inside after a year or two at the most.

I don't think Branch or Perry is even close to BPA on the 16 and if the Jets took one of them there I wouldn't scream but it would be a waste of value given they could trade down instead with Floyd and DeCastro still on the board alongside Upshaw and Hightower.

I'd take DeCastro or Floyd over Upshaw.

I really like Decastro. I was watching the Stanford pro day ealier today and Decastro looks the part.

He's one of my few can't miss Rd 1 prospects.

I agree, its just that hes a guard, I know he would make our whole offense line better

I think there is almost no chance at this point that the Jets take anybody on the offensive side of the ball over a pass rusher if that is the choice on 16. They might take Jonathan Martin over a pass rusher but I doubt they take DeCastro or Floyd there.

I'd just much prefer they trade down at that point because this is a stacked first round and reaching instead of trading down is like a double penalty because of that. Not only do you not get the BPA but you make everybody behind you get more value out of the draft than they should.

Trade down for one of the guys you want, and there will be a handful of them there still on 16, and you preserve Jet team value overall.

It depends on what pass rusher is available.

Ingram and Upshaw might be gone. IMO, Perry is a slight reach at 16. I love Hightower, but if a a better player like DeCastro or Floyd is available that's the smart choice using BPA.

Going into this draft and only drafting a pass rusher at 16 and passing much better players is a mistake.

Cosigned. Plus I have a feeling a guy like Vinny Curry will be around in round 2. Decastro/Curry to me is better then Upshaw/Amini Silatolu or someone like that.

I wouldn't mind Decastro either if the Jets don't believe they can get a good pass rusher at 16.

    I would take Upshaw>Decastro>Ingram.

I guess the question would be if Coples makes it to the Jets do they like him?

I think the Jets have pigeon-holed themselves into drafting LB with the way the position is set to crumble at this point next off season.

You'd like to think they'd go BPA at a position of relative need, but Tanny's been looking at his over market 2012 numbers on Scott and Pace and he definitely knows we're looking for the future. We might end up reaching and/or getting a player that's not a game changer. Still, disrupting the passer's rhythm is area of concern #1.

there enough project pass rushers on the roster and it's such a deep pass rushing draft i think you have to go decastro if he's there at 16 then grab 2 more passrushers and a free safety with your next 3 picks. Some nice pass rushers are gonna fall this year.

Tannenbaum and Clicksales aren't simply going to say, here's our pass rushers in order, we'll take whoever we have ranked highest amongst them that is still on the board.

There are guys like Ingram that they'll jump on if he's available at 16, but if the guys they like are gone, and a guy like Floyd is still there? They'll gladly add a weapon like that to our offense.

Jax plays a 4-3 defense. Poe is a 3-4 NT.

Too add , Jacksonville has two excellent DTs in Alualu and Knighton. Even if someone wanted to put Poe at 4-3 DT, the Jaguars are not the team who would be interested, especially at 7.

agreed there. If DeCastro is on the board, unless Trent Richardson is there, you have to take him IMO. This offense is going to be about running the ball 45 times a game. DeCastro is a plug and play guy who has a shot at the pro bowl year 1. you don't pass on a player who will be one of the elite guys at his position for the next decade. Especially when an elite OL is the most important thing you can do for your QB and running game this year.
