You folks were so excited for Tony...

You are gonna hate Morono so much...

Marshall was an expensive decoy...Our offense was useless wildcats and dinks and dunks with some runs into the line...

These are some of the same players who leak anonymous quotes about "this guy" and "that guy". Most divided locker room in the NFL and I'm going to worry about what THEY think? Give me a break..

I say jettison those that don't want to be here. They have no problem cashing their checks, do they?

Well good luck with the David Garrard upgrade... root for the Heat, at least they're pretty good.

I am a Jet Fan, not a Tebow Fan, and I do care about what players on the team think. They after all are football players and know the game. Which is more than I can say about some newbie poster here.

Agreed. Ive been a member of this site for almost a decade and only post when I feel strongly about something like this. The hype will die down and what we will be left with is a situational weapon that a lot of teams including us could not stop. Not to mention the exact kind of attitude and leadership this team was so severely lacking last year.
This signing in no way impedes our signing of anyone that could fill a hole for us. Obviously a shocking move but looking at it from a football stand point it makes sense to have more options for the ground and pound.

Newbie? I've been here longer than you are but I only post when I have something important (to me) to write about. You might want to think along those lines if this is an example of your acumen..

This is actually incorrect. It was stated by multiple parties that the Jets knew of the contract language, they were just negotiating on the actual amount.

You said we should not care what the Jet players think.

Well, it may have been important to you to give expression to that little gem, but acumen is not the word I would use to describe that thought.

This is totally baseless. Just your own unsupported opinion.

Tebow's stats as a QB were well below Sanchez last year. Obviously not for running but for passing. So you can't just look at his stats and say they added a more productive player to the team. Even if you believe Tebow adds value to the offense, and I would agree he adds some, the circus he brings with him will, in many people's opinion, negate any value he provides. Looking at what happened last year with Ryan, Sanchez and the receiving corp, there's a legitimate question whether the team can keep the circus under control and stay focused on football.

Wasn't asking for support. Its not baseless, go back and read some of the comments from last season..

Your stats are wonderful and accurate. But I don't believe Tebow is replacing Sanchez. But hold on to those stats. Those calls may or may not come next season.

I said "I" don't care what the Jets players think. Its called an opinion. If you care, good for you. I think many (not all) players lost a lot of credibility when the locker room imploded last season. The locker room was a divided mess. Not my words, LaDanian Tomlinson's. Or is he a jerk now, too?

We need leadership and character guys on this team.

    Tebow defines that role.

I hope we can bring in some young ballers from the draft and fill the holes we desperately need to fill. I hope training camp is hell and we instill discipline in a team that had none last season. I home we win a lot next year and break our 42 year drought.

    I am all in.

Careful sir. Expressing an opinion around here, contrary to Big Brother (err.Blocker), is cause for a stern, albeit, weak reprimand.
