The Jets should have backed out of this deal when they had the chance. The upside to this does not outweigh the potential negatives
Anyone who doesn't think that that fans won't be calling for Tebow after a bad Sanchez game have lived in a vacuum over the last two years. Why pay your QB $20M+ over the next two years guaranteed only to bring in Tebow? If Sanchez plays as well as some think he can there is no need for Tebow. Since when has a wildcat offense put a team over the top? Please somebody answer that question. I guess the Jets are smarter than the other 25-30 teams in the league. Yeah, that's the ticket.
Well Tebow liked what he fucking heard. Because if he heard "well we just want you to sell PSLs and ride the pine" he's flying to Jacksonville.
What are you doing? Trying to actually make sense? Being realistic and not over emotional? Thats not the way of a Jet fan! CMON MAN!
I agree 100% BUT Rex Ryan MUST declare Sanchez the clear #1 QB. When Sanchez sucks, and he will, only then can Tebow play QB.
You want Tim Tebow? Theres plenty every year. They're called black QBs. They won't cost you a 4th round pick and 5 mill either. You can usually find them struggling to make teams as WR as theyre told they cant play QB. I don't get people going around saying "people are overreacting" and "he's a Jet now so just shut up and root for him." This is a fan forum. Isn't that what you're supposed to do? Rant about the stupid shit your team does.Isn't that the point?
Fans were calling for MARK FUCKING BRUNELL!!! This fickle fanbase is going to be calling for a shit QB by midseason.
For this to have any chance to work, Jets fans and the NYC tabloid media need to not act like complete dumbasses. So yeah, we're probably fucked.
