Hey WW I got a question. Will there be any sort of "official trade thread" where GMs can see who is interested in moving up/down or will we just contact one another to see who is interested?
Nope...no trades, read the rules thread. I've never had trades, it get's crazy. I will adjust the the draft order, if a real trade occurs while our mock is in progress. I only will adjust the draft trade(s) if that spot wasn't drafted already.
So first the Redskins jump ahead of the Browns so I can't pick RG3, and now the Saints who didnt have a 1st round pick now don't have a 2nd. C'mon NFL, don't you know I have a mock draft to participate in?
I am not sure. The comp picks are released between March 26th-March 28th at the NFL's annual meeting.
so are we adding those in if they get announced after we start, but before we reach the earliest comp picks?
Its up to WW85 I guess, I doubt we reach the 3rd round that soon. We will probably play it by ear but I think by the time we get to round 3 we should have the majority of picks announced by the NFL.
I've timed the draft to enter the comp picks on Tuesday. Picks should be released Monday or Tuesday and we should be in late rd 1 or early rd 2 Tuesday evening. Comp picks can only start at the end of rd 3.

Being a “newbie” for this draft, JW what the average time is between a whole round?... Also, in case a pick cant be made due to something very important, my board should be PM’d to a reliable GM, correct?
I will be available the Mon thru Fri, so you can forward your draftboard to me. We usually complete a round a day, give or take. Read the rules, in the sticky section, it will help explain.
Its really a gamble, sometimes it lasts a whole day and sometimes it can go by in about 2 to 3 hours. The later the round the longer it takes and vice versa. If you cant be available that day or just not sure, send anyone within the draft your board, its usually the safest move.
