despite the total clown nature of this debacle you have to admit its pretty entertaining - i havent been this glued to the site since we signed Favre!
So it makes sense to you to have a QB who is guaranteed 20 million play backup to a QB who can't throw the ball? Genius.
Nope. I just dont base my opinions on players on political preferences. And I would be willing to bet a lot of the people who dont like him tend to vote for a particular political party and dont like him for what he represents. Just an educated guess, but I would be willing to bet that if you gave people truth serum and conducted a poll, 90% of the people who dont like him all vote the same way. The guy is a winner and has talent. He has good football iq, a decent arm, and has that "It" factor. You work on his mechanics, and he has potential. And the attributes he has, you cant teach (see Exhibit "A," Sanchez, Mark for proof of that)
If you include sold out over priced PSL's and tens of millions of dollars in over priced merchandise than Mr Johnson may disagree with you.
Jeez man, it's like 1 AM in the UK right now... me... not even the end of the business day. The way it is you'll probably know how this ends up before I do.
it will be annoying if the Jets agree to a 3rd rd pick or something even worse to avoid paying the $5m - just let him go to the Jags
No, he can throw the ball. His problem is he has a long delivery and accuracy problems. But he has an NFL caliber throwing arm. I see this a lot like what happened in Philly when they got Vick.
Kris Jenkins @krisjenkins77 Reply Retweet Favorite · Open Tebow to the Jets is absolutely disgusting I hope he goes to Jacksonville. It would be an upgrade for them. We can draft a new RB with one of those picks.
Do you not think that Elway who quite possibly might be the greatest QB to ever play the game took a look at his mechanics? Not saying he's a coach but I would think he would know a little bit about playing the position.
Nice quote by Jenkins. Way to kill the Front Office, A QB who may be on the team, and your starting running back. He'll probably say he quoted himself out of context
I agree. This is a business. Tebow gets people talking about the Jets. Tebow gets people hoping on the bandwagon. Tebow gets people to buy Jets merchandise. And Tebow sells PSL's. I have already said I would go out and buy tickets within the hour if Tebow is given the chance to win the job. Aside from Manning, who the Jets foolishly failed to pursue, Tebow is the next best player from a business perspective.
