If this happens, Mark Sanchez is going to be on as short a leash as Orton was last year. The second he made a bad pass, the fans would be calling for Tebow. I don't think that's a good situation to have, especially after giving Sanchez the big contract extension. That is going to work best if he's the starting quarterback and there is no one questioning that.
I hear Tebow is setting up a Manninesque courtship tour around the country and is giving out free bibbles along the way.
In the eye' of some fan's Sanchez will always be on a short leach , but his contract has only cemented that he is unchallengeable ; especially from the skill set of Tim Tebow. Tebow is not a good fit for this team.
My biggest concern here is that 1) Sparano didn't introduce the wildcat to the Dolphins and 2) Miami didn't even use the wildcat that much over the past two years... Sparano isn't as much of a "wildcat specialist" as you're letting on
Just ended a fantasy bball draft and too lazy to check if this has been posted Two sources have confirmed to ESPN New York that the Jets' interest in Tim Tebow has "intensified." The Jets have reportedly gone from "lurking on the periphery of the trade talks" to in the thick of them. A team source confirmed to ESPN New York the potential move would at least in part be an effort to heal the Jets' fractured locker room. "Bringing in a guy like (Tebow) would help," the source said. "It makes perfect sense." In reality, adding a polarizing personality like Tebow could serve to further divide Gang Green, and would certainly put even more pressure on embattled starter Mark Sanchez. A league source has also confirmed to ESPN's Adam Schefter the Dolphins are "not likely" to make a move for Tebow. Mar 20 - 10:51 PM Source: ESPN New York
I never once said wildcat. I believe i referred to him as a power runner type. I dont know if Ive ever referred to wildcat on this board ever in fact, except to make fun of it.
Should've added that, although I quoted you, I was just quoting the last person to say the name "sparano" and talked about him
Not possible. I read many posts here that said the Jets locker room is fine and Mehta was just fabricating his anonymous sources. If that was the case, why would this be true? Lies. All lies.
Wow. Im worried about this organization as a whole. How can they think adding someone so controversial as Tebow could heal the locker room? I seriously hope they dont get their wishes, because this can easily backlash on them.
Yea understandable man, I dont expect ya to do research on a damn message board lol. Heres my first post in the thread, a page before the other one.
Looks like decision to be made by Noon tomorrow? FWIW, I think it will be Jacksonville. They have the most to gain and the owner wants him bad to sell seats.
