Can anybody tell me why we're trying to get a wildcat quarterback with no extra available money when we just signed a backup quarterback and we have a guy on the team named Jeremy Kerley?
I still can't believe you hired Tony as your OC... You are gonna see how bad his offensive style has become.
Tebow on the Jets would be awkward to say the least, I can see it now. Sanchez throws a pick six to lose a game and the Crowd starts a chant.... T-E-B-O-W TEBOW! TEBOW TEBOW! oh the horror...
You can see total pressures in the 1st link. The only QB who started all 16 games who was pressured less was Fitzpatrick. While the 1st link solely deals with QBs under pressure The 2nd link only briefly discusses QB under pressure in terms of QBR but deals more with overall effectiveness. http://www.profootballfocus.com/blog/2012/01/31/pressure-and-the-2011-quarterbacks/ http://espn.go.com/blog/statsinfo/post/_/id/39922/sanchezs-2011-struggles-under-microscope#comment
Here's the problem with us bringing in tebow. Our team represents NY, the NY media, after the way last season ended, can u imagine when Sanchez has one bad game? This city will fucking riot to have tebow step in and start. This has cluster fuck circus written all over it. If we get tebow, our current QB, HC, and GM may very well find themselves working for new teams come 2013.
Not for nothing...but Sanchez can avoid all this nonsense by playing well instead of fucking up. Just sayin.. Tebow fucking blows though, I hate this.
Haha Cromartie just tweeted this! I agree. "We don't need Tebow. We sell out every home game let him go to Jacksonville Tampa or Miami. Our wildcat offense can b ran by J. Kerley or Joe McKnight we straight"
This post is so true ! Can you imagine if Sanchez starts slow ? Sanchez had a hissy fit when Brunnell took reps in practice------Tebow coming here is a very very bad idea----if he can play RT or OLB sign him now otherwise---I hate the thought
Tebow would give Mark motivation. Good players need competition to become great, and Mark would have someone to push him.
Let me preface this by saying that assuming this is NOT to replace Sanchez & become the starting QB I think this might be a good move. I think Tebow could be a Brad Smith type but leaning more towards being a power guy than so finesse. He'd be perfect for the wildcat that Sparano loves & it would give the O another tool in the arsenal. The Jets really missed those 3-4 big plays Smith seemed to make every game. Tebow is that type of player. Additionally, Tebow would play a big part in repairing the locker room. If he comes as a "slash" player, & he doesn't cost more than a 4th, sign me up.
I can't think of many 5th, 6th or 7th round picks that Tannenbaum has made that actually see much playing time..I'm sure there must be somebody but with his record of drafting over the last 4 years I think using one of those picks on Tebow would definitely equate to costing us nothing..what we would get with Tannenbaum's pick.
