Can he cover Gronkowski and play FS? If yes, absolutely!

You do realize that the majority of people only wouldnt mind Tebow as a back up and someone who could play in the wildcat role?

I guess this was your only chance to bash Sanchez and Tanny since they decided to move on from the Peyton talk.

While he could run aspects of Sparano's offense very well, the fan-base and the media would make it impossible for the Jets to use him exclusively in that manner. His presence would end up being more trouble then he is worth.

Bringing Tebow to the Jets would be about the worst thing the FO could do at this time. He is terrible, yet he has this ridiculous following and the minute Sanchez has one bad quarter, the idiot Jets fans will be clamoring for him. If you think the locker room was bad last year, add Tebow and watch the team fall apart. Pass (because Tebow can't).

I admit, I would trade for Tebow if it came with a written agreement from Jesus stating that God would guarantee the Jets a Super Bowl victory within 3 years.

After some strong re-consideration, I am open to trading for Tebow.

I am willing to give some combination of Bart Scott and or Calvin Pace to obtain him.

Of course its not (but not for that reason), I just cant wait to upgrade Scott and get his garbage contract off the books.

Add in Pace too, and we suddenly can make some splashes in FA.

Denver just doesnt need our garbage.

Plus Tebows contract (on rotoworld) doesnt make any sense to me

The only way I'd do that trade if it's for Wayne Hunter and Bart Scott.

I would take Tebow over Sanchez in a heartbeat.

Tebow is a proven winner and knows how to win in the clutch when it matters. Sanchez has proven time and time again that he's truly awful as his job and doesn't possess the ability to lead his team to victory. He's always been the byproduct of great defense and run games.

With Sanchez, the Jets will never win a SB. With Tebow, we at least have God on our side, so I'd take that gamble in a heartbeat.

    lolwhat

Tebow is a PROVEN WINNER !?

After one 8-8 season, where he one a single playoff game AT HOME, against a completely crippled team ?

Vs Sanchez who has had 3 seasons, none of which had a losing record, and is 4-2 on the road in the playoffs all on the road !?

And the 2 losses were to teams that went to the Sbowl ?

    You crazy

Tebow is a proven winner? Really?

Like his great playoff success... How he got raped by the Pats in the same game that Sanchez lead us to one of the best victories in years, just a year before?

God, some people make me sick.

Completely agree. I donth think this serves any good here, it just creates absurd and ridiculous scenarios.

Tebow was great when it counted too in that playoff game, right?

Tebow is a product of his system. What the Broncos OC did, was absolutely genius, and he truly knows how to create a system based on the talent he has. Sanchez had the complete opposite scenario.

Its not even worth it is if you cant realize this...

anyone out there really think that signing drew stanton as a backup is going to motivate sanchez? bringing tebow in trade for a 5th or 6th round pick would really ratchet up the presure on sanchez to perform or sit. tebow has more wins and results than stanton has.:eek:hmy:
