Sorry, it was pure sarcasm lol. No one can COVER Gronk, but at least Landry could pile drive him into the ground.
Would have loved the Nelson/Landry combo but i am not opposed to Atogwe/Landry or Smith/Landry(REGGIE that is)
Because he has probably never been hit as hard as this guy will hit him when he catches over the middle.
I hope the opposite, he's a freakish over exerciser, he gets so jacked he puts too much stress on his tendons. I also worry about him not having surgery despite the recommendation of doctors.
I like this signing, Landry is a beast in the box safety when healthy. Now we still need to add a cover safety to compliment him.
I hope the Jets medical staff got that achilles tendon under the microscope and made sure that shit is as strong as his roid neck. If he stays healthy it's a great pick up.
Blah blah blah? Say what you will but we HAD to sign someone back there, not doing so leaves us with ERIC SMITH going into the draft, how ANYONE could feel remotely comfortable with that is beyond me. If the guy we draft turns out to be a stud then look we only have Landry for one cheap year and fantastic, if the guy we draft busts and we didnt sign Landry then you tell me how safe you feel with our secondary.
Wishful thinking? Landry is a proven monster in hitting, and whats so wishful to think that he would lay one of those on Gronk? Swear some jets fans slit their wrists if you do and choke themselves if you dont.....
This dude is a fucking Pats troll...ignore him. Look at his previous 10 posts...theres a NE reference is just about all of them.
Exactly, love how fans think every season starts with a FA period like one in Madden where you turn off salary cap
I love this acquisition. There's little risk; and tremendous potential reward. This guy is a terror on the field. One of the biggest hitters in the game. He'll be playing for a long term contract; so he'll have every incentive to stay healthy and be productive.
Here's to hoping either: 1) The majority of the $4 million is incentive-based. or 2) The contract has an Achilles Clause.
