Haha..yeah, I guess that's true..although we probably still have the best 2 corners in Revis and Cromartie.

Anyway, I just can't remember many people saying they would sleep on a Jets offer before now. Maybe there were, I don't remember who.

WHILE Nelson thinks it over we should have 2 other safeties in here---hell they should have been in while we waited 3 days for Nelson and Landry to show up. In FA you snooze you lose---I will be shocked if this guy does sign here. I wanted one of these guys now it is possible we get neither.

I hope we had another safety in already and while Nelson thinks about it --we sign at least one other guy/ safety ,,,,but I cannot think of who else could have possibly been in for a visit while we waited on these guys

anyone have a list of FA Safeties out there?

Landry is coming in tomorrow. After Nelson tells good guy Tanny to take a walk, they'll overpay for Landry tomorrow and say he's the guy they really wanted.

Every team in sports is like that.

    Dont be naieve

Pats do it, Colts do it, Steelers do it

What do you want teams to start doing, giving monster contracts to guys who dont deserve it ?

Look at the yankees, they dont give a shit about anybody, yet thats the team everyone wants to play for

Nelson is looking for the best deal for him. Some of you guys make it look like he should accept a lesser offer to play for Rex. Are you serious?
Non the less something tells me he will not be a Jet. As for not getting Aso...thak God. We would be in real ap hell now with the same problems.

Jets bring it to another level and are too full of themselves for winning nothing. These other teams aren't saying everyone wants to play for them.

I have a strong feeling we are going to end up with Landry whether Nelson signs or not.

This is an absurd ignorant and incorrect statement. First of all, free agency is all about the money. Second, what vets did the Jets treat badly? Third, if the Jets kept throwing millions at veterans to retain them, they would not have any money to even offer guys like Nelson a contract. You have no clue.

Are you serious? What vet haven't they treated badly? Richardson and Woody quit cause it was either the Jets or retire, that's how alot of vets are, not wanting to go to a new team. Ellis was treated awful, vets minimum, what a kick in the ass that was. Guy singlehandely won that Pats playoff game and good guy Tanny offers him the vets minimum. Now that's loyalty!!!! Weatherford treated awful,, ended up giving them the finger with the Giants.

Cotchery saw the writing on the wall. They were getting ready to ask him to take a cut, that's how they roll.... He got out before they could insult um. Guy played with a severe injury, good guy Tanny was ready to reward him with a big cut.
