Yeah you're right. Not that it's going to help the Florida Panthers when they get creamed by the devils

Avery retired a few days ago so you can cross that off. If you want to take the glass half full approach, you could say that these guys are at least getting some rest along with sitting out injured.

soft as a vagina...although thats Stepan's role. Hes lazy like a Russian but doesnt score like one. He misses the net 4 times a night too. Fuck him.

    Mitchell R. Beck ‏ @HowlingsToday
Ken Gernander confirms to media that Tim Erixon is headed to the #NYR

Great news, especially if Erixon has gotten stronger physically.

Stepan has talent, and has a great shot but never hits the net...frustrating, but hopefully he will get better and at least be as good as Dubi....

In the big picture Talis, it's a bitter defeat but it's still only one game, bounce back tonight...

objectively i don't think we can compete with pitt, unless our defenseman are playing at the level they were the beginning of the year...

but the difference is the rangers is that they've got so much talent down the pipeline i don't think it'll matter. if we don't win it this year we've got about a 2-3 year window.

so i ain't sad. this isn't the jets mortgaging draft picks.

If we can get back to the way we were playing earlier in the season we can beat them...

Stepan has talent and is wayyy better than Dubi of course. But his talent is totally one-dimensional. He can pass the puck. Thats it. He CANNOT skate, he cannot shoot ( he wont even dare) and the few times he doesnt look to make the extra pass, he misses the net. AND he is terribly weak on the puck.

Again, thats why I thought putting him on the same untouchable list as McD and MDZ was laughable. He is a far inferior prospect to both of those guys
