Didn't catch the game, heard the Pens were all over the Rangers tonight. Granted, Lundqvist didn't play. If Crosby can stay in the lineup the Pens will be hard to beat, guy is a wizard.

It's like a diff team when Hank is in the lineup. I hate the pens also, going to be tuff to beat in the post season. But I never buy into the "oh I hop we don't get the in the 1st round" BULLSHIT, it's hockey to be the best you have to beat everyone. 7 game series proves who the better team is.
They'll have two rounds to get eliminated before meeting the Rangers, and if that doesn't do it they'll have to face a pissed off Lunqvist

NJ and/or Phila would have to overtake the Rangers or Pens in the regular season for that to be possible. If Rangers & Pens win their respective first rounds, they are currently the top two teams in the conference and could not play each other in round 2
They cant be top two, theyre in same division. The Rangers and Pens would be 1 &4 in ranking. The northeast and southeast div winners would be 2 & 3. So if seeds 1,2,3 and 4 win first round, Rangers/Pens round 2
They can be top 2. In round 1 the division winner is Eastern 1st and the second best record in the division is Eastern 4th (assuming they stay the top 2 point leaders). After the 1st round, if they both win they get re-seeded to Eastern 1 & 2 and they will play 4 & 3 respectively. They can't play eachother, the only way is in the Eastern Conference championship round
I believe youre wrong braa. If all top 4s win, the Pens dont leap frog the other two div wnners...winning your division gives you that seed which you carry with you the rest of the way. They dont take away the bonus of winning your division after teh 1st round
