    Per Manish

This would make me beyond happy, we should've never let him leave.

I can't see Cotch coming back - especially after his comments at the end of the season...echo echo

He'll come back for the right $$$, because, say what you will, money talks.

He'd be coming back as the starter opposite Holmes, I think he hated that 2 straight years they brought in other WRs to start in place of him so maybe that would make him happy? I'd love to see Cotch back- is it too much to ask for our top 3 to be Cotch, Braylon and Holmes again?

I think that's true in most cases but he gave up more money to stay w/ the Jets than he wound up making in Pitt.

I really liked those three receivers together, but I think Kerley has a stranglehold on the #3 receiver position now.

I hate to ask, but why? He's not the answer at #2 and Kerley in the slot, Turner as a #4...I guess if he were here, Turner would be #5 and never see the field, may as well cut him loose already.

As much as I love Cotch he just isn't the type of WR we need right now. We need someone to open up the short passing game for Holmes, Cotch not the guy to accompish that.

Cotch is a 3. How about drafting a legit starting WR for a change? Unless Kerley becomes one that is...

Maybe we can get Coles and Chrebet back too?

he made a huge impact in Pittsburgh catching 16 passes. He did have a nice TD in the playoffs... but seriously he wasn't a number 2 in Pittsburgh, more like a 3/4 so maybe he should just go somewhere wherein he's actually going to see the field. We need a cheap #2 right now, he's that guy... AND he's a solid locker room guy too.

Cotchery coming back means no Braylon. Cotchery wont come here unless he knows he is going to be a #2 wr atleast. He was a good player for us so Id like to see it. Also makes me think our staff isnt interested in Braylon at all. I wonder what the deal with him is that it was so easy to give him up and then get cut in SF.

If hes cheap by all means.

Jets need to be frugal, and considering how much other wrs are getting paid he may be one of our only options.

Altho as others said hes a poor #2, so we definitely need to draft a deep threat

I have a feeling his injury is a major concern. That is the only reason I can see.

For this offseason, we resign BT, Folk so far, we have interest in JCo, might as well resign Jimmy, Braylon, Santana Moss and Chad Pennington while we are at it...

Maybe Tanny is putting together a team to play in a new league where each team can only play their starters from 2005-2010.

Isn't Cotchery a free agent. Wouldn't trading a player for a FA be the same as cutting him. Lets just bring back the start of 09s wr corps. Bring back the Clown.
