    Mario Williams to the Bills
Hasn't happened yet but by all accounts it looks pretty likely (plus IncarceratedBob said it was a done deal so you know it has to be true). I would think this would make it less likely they take a pass rusher in the 1st round. They've been mocked guys like Melvin Ingram most of the time but now I would think they turn their attention maybe to an offensive lineman or even receiver.

    Jaguars resign Jeremy Mincey
Ditto the Jags retaining their top pass rusher and I would think be less likely to go after a pass rusher. I think Floyd is a realistic option for the Jags here.

Peyton Manning to a team other then the Dolphins
When the Marshall traded happened the speculation was Peyton was going to get his Indy offense together in Miami. Now with Garcon in Washington and Wayne back in Indy, I think it makes it less likely he winds up in South Beach. According to Mike Lombardi, Tannenhill at 8 looks like it's going to happen. This is good for us in the draft as it pushes someone down, and it's even better because it pretty much ensures the Dolphins are continuing to be stuck in 3rd place.

    Buccaneers sign WR Vincent Jackson
I think this could be one of those chain reaction type deals. With Jackson on board, Blackmon is probably not considered for Tampa Bay at 5. Which means he'll probably be available at 6, and I think would be the Rams pick. If he wasn't there, I think they'd take T-Rich. Now, slotting Blackmon in there, the chances of Richardson dropping down become more likely.

I don't think anything that happened yeasterday changes the draft. The first three appear set. Browns take Blackmon, TB takes Claiborne, Stl takes TRich. Jackson is getting old and gets hurt alot.

Well the jets better hope manning isn't in miami - even without marshall that wouldl be a serious threat and manning makes even the average NFL receiver look like a pro bowl player.

its a huge threat to the jets if it happens.

same with the bills - i dont think many of us realize how close the bills are to us. adding williams closes that gap even more and its another serious threat.

its harder to claw your way back to respectability like the bills did for the most part of last year - so adding a guy like williams only enhances that. unfortunately its easier to get knocked out of the elite group and back to mediocrity and thats what happened jets last year.

I still think they go after Claiborne, even with the signing of Wright. His old coach is there and they want to get young and powerful.

St. Louis is now picking 6th, and I think if the two of them are there, I'd guess they'd take Blackmon over Richardson.

he does but 6 is pretty high for a RB. we just dont know how much the salary scale is going to impact the draft perception and slotting of positions. maybe going forward the old mantra of no guards/center, RB, safety in the top ten will change.

Doesn't have any effect on us at all but Calvin Johnson got the richest deal in NFL history. 7 years, 132 million with 60 million guaranteed.

Kalil is from USC, but yeah most people have the Vikings taking him.

Chiefs got Hillis, Buccs are favorites to get Tolbert, Rams could draft Blackmon. Trich might just be there...

    T. Richardson will rock the world just wait.... i really think they are looking at him however i dont think they will make a move and i doubt he will be there at number 16.

he could go to Bucs Browns Rams panthers cheifs or cards

i would worry about the the last 4 the most.

I don't see anyway that Richardson drops to 16. He's going to grab a spot in the backend of the top 10 and somebody like Upshaw, DeCastro or Ingram is going to fall to 16. We should be happy with that I think.

I'd even think trading down for Hightower might be our best move at this point, assuming DeCastro was not the guy who fell to us.

Cross the Chiefs off after the Hilis signing. The Rams still have Steven Jackson. The Browns, Bucs, Cards, or another team trading up are real dangers to him falling.

    Taken from waltersfootball

"Cowboys sign CB Brandon Carr (5 years, $50.1 million): A- Grade
The Cowboys needed a cornerback across from Mike Jenkins, and they signed the top unrestricted free agent on the market. Brandon Carr is very talented and is definitely worth $50.1 million over five years ($100,000 more than Cortland Finnegan). Dallas obviously won't be looking at Janoris Jenkins or Dre Kirkpatrick at No. 14 in the 2012 NFL Draft now, and can instead set its sights on David DeCastro to bolster the offensive front. "

It sucks but there's no way he lasts past Dallas now. As much of a slam dunk pick as any out there.
