T-dog and Darryl are the only 2 guys that I'm not OK with being killed.

T-dog is the best character because he doesn't talk. I am seriously gonna be heated if my nigga gets turned into zombie food.

    death wishlist

    1. Carl - he sucks
    2. Lori - so tired of seeing that stupid look on her face when she is trying to get all serious
    3. the blond woman - the whole suicide episode made me hate her forever

If Darryl dies I'm done with the show. AMC knows this and he will not be killed. You can't kill the best character.

Also you have to give the Lori actress mad props for getting you to loathe her so much of the time she is on the screen. Really for such a beautiful woman that is pure skill right there to carry it just right. Just like Skylar on Breaking Bad. So good at making you vaguely annoyed with them all day. Awesome women.

As for the blond woman yeah fuck that bitch on some levels. 5 episodes I probably would have said all of the levels but I must admit lately she's making me feel some foreign feeling that doesn't seem to be hate towards her for the first time. Not sure what yet but I'll keep you posted when I figure out what it is exactly.

Sure Carl blows but you have to keep him around. The story essentially revolves around him otherwise you have a bunch of randomly connected adults wandering around trying to stay alive and not liking each other so they eventually split.

I feel that Carl is the kind of glue that makes them stay together. To form a sort of fully-functional clan of their own. To weigh the characters down and keep them fighting for something besides the thought of themselves. He's a necessary evil.

It's exactly like when Tanny publicly flirted with Peyton Manning right before going and marrying Sanchez with more money right afterwards. They almost killed Carl so you would get the satisfaction of watching him damn sure almost die. Then they never kill him again so you get bait and switched sort of. Neat trick.

I agree there are lots of plot holes in the show, lots of just stupid things that have already been mentioned (i.e. the showdown being right in front of the farm despite walking through the woods for so long) but overall I still like the show. I hope they can rebound in the third season though because this season has been pretty bad IMO. It's been slow, filled with plot holes, annoying characters, not enough action, not enough movement (i.e. I'm bored of the farm: go somewhere else).

I hope the finale is crazy. Like kill off major characters (not Darryl), introduce new characters, head towards The Governor plotline from the comics, lots of zombie murder goodness, etc.

Wow... yeah, that would totally fit. Would certainly make things a lot more interesting.

are you serious? you do know that in the United States, when a prisoner is set to be executed, it is the governor of the state that can issue a stay of execution and save the prisoner.

now, if you take that information and apply it to the events in the show, that being the prisoner being let go, clearly it isn't a literal statement but a very common phrase simply meant to say he is being released from his punishment.

I keep hearing references to the character named the governor. I wasn't sure if he was referring to that character. On another note. Go fuck yourself. Its a bullshit question on the bullshit forums. Go jump in front of a bus.

Yea I loved how that was the clip that they decided to use for the 'on the next episode...' preview thing. I was like "T-DAWG SAYS SOMETHING NEXT EPISODE....AND IT'S PRETTY BLACK TOO... awwww yeeeeaaa!"

Haha! I have to give you props on the Lori/Sklar comparison. That is spot on. I totally remember feeling the same way when watching Breaking Bad.

Maybe I'm just disappointing with Lori because no character she ever plays will live up to her being Scofield's main bitch....This show would be 10 time better if Scofield was in it:drunk:

Yeah, I'm up to date on them too.

There's no way the show will ever catch up to the comics, especially since the show keeps sabotaging plot threads from the source material. I think the show will eventually veer off into a completely different direction than the books -- probably after the prison story arc -- if it makes it that far at all.

I thought that too -- and in my mind it kind of justified bringing in these characters who weren't from the comic. Merle wont BE the governor, but probably one of his trusted flunkies.

I'm hoping Season 3 brings the goods.

If he masturbates on a bus stop bench and then jumps in front of the bus when it arrives, he won't get too hurt because the bus will have been slowing down. You would get your desired result (him playing with himself before getting severely hurt or killed) if he masturbates a mile or two from the bus stop and jumps in front of the bus when it is travelling at a higher rate of speed.
