Well this better not inhibit the jets drafting of two spanking new lb studs next month. I'll have a freakin meltdown if it does......
I am using this iPad to post and it's a bad mf machine. Wow.

If for vet min like expected, this is much better than Jarret Johnson

Great against the run and as someone said earlier, he is a cheaper and as good as Jarrett Johnson..who is made to look better by the Ravens D,,,sound familiar..

I'd still like to get an OLB early but the guy is a solid role player. Got too much flack for never figuring it out as a pass rusher minus 1-2 years.

You like what? This is the exact same crap team as last season so far with no big additions. We need to make a splash with at least one big name player. Preferably at WR.

Yes, because making a huge splash has worked so well for teams like the Skins year after year.

If we make a "huge splash" its going to kill us with the cap long term. We need to patch over some holes and look forward to the draft, not go crazy with what little cap space is there.

    I like that....

    :)

Actually...I play WITH the cap, but it seems to never go down...j/k

Seriously, I'd like to see the Jets go after a big ticket free agent like Mario Williams. I realize that's probably not going to happen, but it doesn't mean I can't wish for it to happen.

I wonder if we used the 500k that we can use for 3 players that have been on the team for 5+ years... Im not sure how that whole thing works, but it seems like it would pertain here

Here's to hoping he still has some cactus juice in the tank. [takes strong swig of herbal tea]

actually happy about this. Did not expect this. Pleasantly surprised. And a One year deal is ideal.

With Holmes' contract you want them to spend big money on another WR? Doesn't sound like the right move, especially with a lot of good WRs in the draft.

I would have liked Jarrett Johnson but i guess BT will do, he knows the system, and he's got essentially the same skill-set as Johnson. good signing, lets hope he can stay on the field this year.

Stoked absolutely stoked, getting Thomas signed, probably resigning Folk. Kept Hunter. Extended Sanchez. Yes by goodness yes!!!!!!!

    Result:

With the first pick in the 2013 NFL Draft the New York Jets select: ..................

Damn it get a RT like W@inston and draft a pass rusher.

    Quit fucking around Tanny.

I like this move, but I do have 2 big concerns.

    1) He was already very slow - hopefully he hasn't lost a step.
    2) Can his severely injured but supposedly fully recovered 33 year old body sustain the pounding in the trenches for a full season?

Hopefully Maybin is putting weight on and can start to take some snaps on run downs without be tossed around like a little toy.

  18. This guy is a Jet through and through. He isnt an amazing player, but he has been consistent and drama free since he was drafted.

Im really hoping its for the minimum though.
